I have a 2018 Outlander Sport I have had zero problems in almost 6 yrs Not one thing Not even a light bulb Just do the proper maintenance especially changing the CVT fluid every 30k and also the inline paper CVT filter Do that and you will have many years of trouble free driving.
this car is honestly amazing, i have a 2017 SE cvt, i literally do all of the maintenance in my apartment parking lot, most days i get 43mpg combined, goes to 37 combined with the ac on. i've absolutely abused this car at times and still keeps going. don't have to worry about getting scratched or dented, parking is stupid easy. i could go on about this car forever lol, i've driven many cars and the mirage is still my favorite by far.
Great video, except for one tiny error. The trim level that you have is NOT the fully loaded or top of the line. It is the LE. Below is the order of trim level ES (base) LE BE SE (top of the line)
The mirage is a real option. Great mpg. Little fun to drive. Good to know that there are no more Honda fit or Toyota Yaris for sale as new cars anymore
Japan has a long history with 3 cylinder engines. They are used exclusively on Kei cars, a class of vehicles not sold in the US. Kei cars are limited by width and length, and are also limited to 660cc engines. So when Mitsubishi designed the modern Mirage, it simply upscaled the engine technology from the Kei cars. That and the CV transmission produces an excellent MPG champion.
I love it also. I had two trucks, an F150 and a Tundra V8 , traded the F150 for this and my dealership today had the Ralliart version of this Mirage and I love it. I commute to work 40 mins everyday, and let me tell you , I barely pump gas. I will keep this car until the wheels falls off lol. They gave me a great warranty too
Enjoyed your car video. I have 2020 Chevy Spark LS manual, which is fun to drive. I considered a 2020 Mirage at the time, but local Mitsubishi dealer did not want to make a deal, so got Spark 14k out the door!
Know someone who uses one of these for his side gig doing delivery apps. Its cheap, doesn't use much gas and doesn't break. Works perfect for that purpose.
I drive 500 miles a week was doing it in a v8 camaro picked up a new one 5 months ago just to save the miles and fuel and I have fallen in love with it
I replaced the stock 14” alloy’s on my 2015 with Konig Helium 15” and the ride quality is so much better without a hit to MPG’s. I hated the way the 14’s looked, however the slanted spoke variant that you have looks pretty good. I love this car.
