Mitsubishi Mirage RX Supercar driven FLATOUT up Goodwood Hillclimb!

This video is about a little but very fast Mitsubishi Mirage RallyCross car I recorded during the 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The car has been built and modified by Spencer Sport together with Mpart AB (the company that develops the Mirage R5 rally car) and it features all the specs to be raced in the Supercar class of any RallyCross event. Watch it driven flatout by British driver James Grint on the Goodwood hillclimb course!!

Yeah, indeed. 600hp on those little cars are just mental!! Can't imagine how scary they are to drive on the limit. Anyway yes, you hear it correctly: James is the brother of Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley in the various HP films) ;)

I have the standard one. Is it possible to modify the outside only to this model? Not so much for myself, as I am too old for that shit. But the car will have a second owner that is younger. BTW I love this little car in spite of what everybody tells about it.

DIRT over Tarmac The description online say longitudinally mounted 2.0 litre, I'm assuming it won't be the Evo X 4B11 T as the 4G63 T has more tuning potential.

DIRT over Tarmac Search ' Evo Colt ' on RU-vid, there have been some very impressive matings of Colt bodies with Lancer Evo running gear done over the years. Including a Colt out running a Nissan GT-R.

The race spec mirages have 4 cylinder engines derived from the EVO X ( I think the drivetrain is derived from the EVO X too)

"wOuLdN't It MaKe MoRe SeNsE jUsT tO mAkE tHe EvO aGaIn" for starters mitsubishi is in deep financial problem after they cheated in japan claiming better mpg on a certain car. they cant make an LANCER evo anymore and if they will take the evo back the mirage has the biggest chance to wear the next evo badge. because its a cheaper car than the lancer. the lancer was just like the mirage back in the day a cheap econobox made to perform and became the lancer evo we all love. that mirage and those r5 mirage are the closest we can get to a new evo. the lancer just became a galant and sooner or later the lancer will also follow the galant... killed production. and yes. the r5 mirage has the drivetrain and the 4b11 from the evo x except literally much nimbler cuz short wheelbase
