MITSUKI BETRAYED THE LEAF VILLAGE?! || Boruto REACTION: Episode 72. This Boruto reaction all of the higher-ups in the leaf start investigating Mitsuki's disappearance and the guards that were knocked out into a coma. This includes all of the Jonin in the village, even the teacher ones, which alerts Boruto and Sarada. Boruto and Sarada do some snooping, and listen in on Naruto's conversation where he reveals the truth about Mitsuki to everyone. Boruto and Sarada have a long talk about what to do, and Boruto decides he would rather desert the village and go look for Mitsuki than wait another second without doing anything!

I love how Naruto supports people like Mitsuki who are blamed or hated for something they aren't in control of, it makes it more touching especially since Naruto snuggled with the same thing. At the same time I agree with your commentary, neither Sarada or Boruto are completely right, since Sarada is logically right and Boruto is right for trusting Mitsuki. I'm glad that they're both gonna try and get Mitsuki. I also have faith in Mitsuki!

This arc has two parts - Mitsuki's Will (71-79) and Ohnoki's Will (80-92), one of em is the buildup, the other is the climax and resolution. So, it can be a bit slow paced in the first part, the second part is where things start picking up really well 🙌🙌

Thoughts: - Watching you figure this out is half the fun - Orochimaru isn't even close to being a good guy, but he's a lot less evil since Sasuke rezzed him back in Shippuden - _Those who break the rules are scum. But those who would abandon a comrade are worse than scum._ Boruto is doing exactly what Naruto would have done.

one thing about this arc that i love more then anything is the foreshadow for some of borutos future skills. they almost teased every aspect of it lightly but moved away from it immediately .

@@FearZe They work in the council, They don't get called up to fight much but they do still fight when needed, Like when they helped fight the nine tails alongside Hiruzen and Torifu, They survived and most likely retired though. Them and Hiruzen are a few years younger than Ohnoki so it isn't a stretch that they're also alive still

Fun fact, Mitsuki was supposed to be Sasuke 2.0 and wasn’t supposed to come back to the hidden leaf for a while, while Boruto would go after him like Naruto dod woth Sasuke but it took a turn and the creaters changed it for some reason.

When I first saw this arc years ago, I was the same as Heisuten, thinking that mitsuki wouldn't just betray the leaf. I thought that he is acting like he his betraying. & with the letter + him leaving mysteriously, looked off, but off in the sense of a hidden undercover mission. Sasuke played roles like the Batman. In Sasuke Shinden Arc Naruto Shippuden ep 484-488 he taken down the corruption and greed rich guys among and freed the shinobi who be victims in illegal gambling in Colliseum. You still dont know Sasuke Shinden Arc Naruto Shippuden ep 484-488 is adaptation from novel. Sasuke Shinden Sunrise Novel. So its canon. In the novel explains more detail. Orochimaru can help Shinobi to beaten Otsutsuki one day.

This episode just reminds me why Tsunade is one of the WORST characters in the series. For her to get a hissy fit when finding out that Mitsuki is Orochimaru's son is utterly hypocritical when she was one who allowed Sasuke to defect to the Sound village and pretty much did jack shit about it except let Naruto run around with a proverbial giant target on his back. The only reason why Naruto and Sasuke are still alive is because of their own strength and well plot. But now she's giving crap to Naruto? Whatever happened to the Tsunade who allowed Naruto to fight Pain despite being the target because she "believed in him." But now because she has her past with Orochimaru all of a sudden she thinks Naruto 'crossed the line'. What a bunch of bullshit. Oh let's not forget how Konohamaru was actually the one whose Grandpa was killed by Orochimaru and he was the FIRST to defend Mitsuki.

Lol she sent a squad of the only people available to get Sasuke and sent reinforcements as soon as she got them, what more did you want? And she believed in Naruto's power and will, but obviously when it comes to someone she doesnt trust in Orochimaru, then being kept out of the loop about mitsuki..obviously there is right to have a problem. And hiruzen was her sensei, for all you know he's as close to her as he was to Konohamaru. Keep in mind also that Konohamaru is mitsuki's sensei, obviously he'd have been around mitsuki and come to believe in him. You just have a big Tsunade hate boner for dumb reasons.
