Fun fact : While most people think Boruto's name is an obvious nod to his father, Naruto, it actually has connections with a different family member: his Hyuga cousin, Neji. Neji's name means "screw" in Japan, and Boruto means "bolt." His name ties him to his Hyuga roots more than his Uzumaki. Initially, his name was to be "Memna" or "Shinachiku," meaning seasoned bean roots. That would have related to his father's name, Naruto, which derives from fish cakes people put on ramen. Then, they both would have been ramen-based ingredients. Boruto fits him much, much better and just happens to be phonetically reminiscent of Naruto.

I just realized they skipped the Onoki filler that kinda explains why Mitsuki started this path. They really sleepin on some of the lead up filler. Hopefully they don’t skip the Kara filler. Deepa is one hell of a entity

i did not appreciate this arc when it came out since it was long and i had to wait each week for the next episode, after rewatching it, this was a really great arc for mitsuki and boruto

That was messed up that Mitsuki attacked Boruto, he didn't want to do it but he had to. About Rob's point, in Boruto's head he wasn't even thinking about the dude spying on Mitsuki to see what he would do, all Boruto cared about was Mitsuki in the situation same with Sarada I'm sure. When Boruto got attacked by Mitsuki, he wasn't thinking "Oh he doesn't really mean it" he was thinking Mitsuki genuinely betrayed them.

For people saying why more Boruto? Because y’all chose to have more Boruto and they obviously enjoy watching the series 🤷🏻

This arc was great ..ppl just hated it coz they were finding a reason to hate on boruto after ep 65 nd 66 coz the boruto hate bandwagon stopped after episode 65 .. my only problem was that they stretched this arc a little longer ..this arc had great philosphy as rob stated..but ppl just wanted fighting , fighting and more fighting i guess

I wish we could get like a Naruto prequel series. That shows us the past Ninja world. And every new generation the main character changes like JoJo. So it could be maybe Madara as the first protagonist, then Hiruzen as the next protagonist, then Kakashi as the next protagonist (I feel like I skipped over some generations but you get the point). And like y’all said, Hiruzen used to be wild in the past as said by Madara. The past shinobi world used to be on demon time. And but it don’t even got to just be focused in the Leaf, one thing about Naruto I wish they did more in the OG Naruto is let us see the perspective of people from the other villages to see what their lives were like. We could have a protagonist in the mist which at that time would be the blood mist. Naruto is such as big series with so much they can still do. The writers just lack the imagination

The one thing that bothers me about the Boruto anime is that they make Boruto stupid, like he asks stupid questions, doesn’t get things, that should be obvious. In the manga and some of the anime episodes Boruto is a prodigy and genius. He learned a rasengan like nothing. He has hinatas brains and Naruto battle prowess, he should ask stupid questions in SOME episodes.
