Mitsuki's NEW Sage Mode is BROKEN?! 

Boruto pelvis thrusting his sword out of its scabard is so hilarious to me, those things dont just fly out when you drop them or something meaning Boruto put a heck of a lot of power in that motion. Sarada and Sumire looking at that move and knowing Boruto got all the skills he needs for the future lmao.

Is it fair to say that Shikamaru has been on a MVP run since the Code assault arc? The dude has been making really good chess piece moves…people were crazy to say that his brain is nerfed in the Boruto era.

This was my favorite chapter in a while tbh. Borutos use of FTG to teleport to his sword was cold af and Shikamaru showing he's on Borutos side was like letting out a sneeze I've been holding for what felt like 30 chapters. Most of Shikamarus 4d chess moves have been made within one or two chapters in the past and this felt like the longest stretches he'd played it off like a fool.

I love Mitsuki's longer hair honestly. Also Boruto pelvic thrusting his sword out his scabard to teleport to it is glorious

I think Boruto waited to tell Sarada, because he wasn't strong enough to know for certain he could escape the village.

Boruto vs Mitsuki could go down as one of the best Boruto fights if done right. Also forget the Otsutsuki, the 2 elders are the real parasites.

Mitsuki hadn't seen Boruto for a long time and once he saw him, he missed him so much that his "snake" immediately rise and became tense so he was willing to chase Boruto out of the village and fight him. The dedication of this man is worthy of appreciation

Mitsuke over heard the conversation between Aida demon and kawaki .. mitsuke always has a snake laying around somewhere gathering intel , wouldn’t be surprised if that’s why he wanted to fight boruto alone to confirm what they were talking about in the house !

This was now the second time since the timeskip that Kawaki didn't notice an attack from behind, and given his general attitude to shinobi training in the past, that's probably intentional. Apart from being able to detect Boruto's Karma signature his sensory abilities/general awareness seem to be pretty bad. It seems to me that he's so overly confident in his raw strength that it will eventually be what makes Boruto come out on top, with him essentially beating Kawaki by acting and fighting like a true Shinobi would. Also I do still have some hope that Mitsuki might have caught on over the few years that have passed, once the confusion settled. He spent so much time around Boruto that he simply has to notice him and Kawaki swapping roles if he thinks about it even a little. Like, don't they study combat strategies or something? Wouldn't you notice your teammate, a prodigy in Wind and Lightning release, user of Shadow Clones and the Rasengan, suddenly throwing out Fireballs and Lasers all over the place, transform his arm into a blade, and barely be able to create and sustain a single Clone?

Sasuke was using purple lightning in the anime/novel after the war arc against the blood eyes girl so Sasuke obviously taught boruto it since he can’t use chidori w/o getting tunnel vision, it’s funny how boruto said sage mode mitsuki is minor business😂

Lets all give Shikimaru a round of applause for figuring out Boruto and Naruto sound real similar.

Hopefully we get to see the full power of Mitsuki Sage Mode and whether or not it's okay for him to use now.

Not including Tobirama, Boruto is now using the 2 most deadly Justu of Konoha's history. The signature ability of the Yellow Flash, who was famously "run-on-sight", and now also Purple Lightning, which if you think about it too much, is kind of the spiritual successor and evolution of The White Fang's chakra blade. An iconic glowing chakra blade that slices through targets relentlessly, just like the White Fang. Boruto is embodying the techniques of both of Konoha's deadliest and most effective war-time shinobi of all time.

Mitsuki went from being Boruto's bighest simp to being Boruto's biggest hater.

Lets all appreciate how fast Mitsuki caught up to Boruto despite staying behind Boruto flying away from the village

I doubt this will happen, but what if when Boruto and Mitsuki come to blows, Boruto beats Mitsuki, but doesn't kill him, and it's revealed it was all a test set up by Mitsuki to determine if whether Boruto was actually the person who killed Naruto, thus Mitsuki ignoring his memories, and having his actual "sun" back.

Purple lightning is something boruto has always known in the data books on his list of jutsus he just never had the confidence to use it it love combat until now

Boruto already knew Purple Lightning in Part 1. It was listed as one of his jutsus in his character data sheet in one of the early volumes.

It also makes sense for Amado to arrive at the conclusion of his memories being altered before Shikamaru since the former has more knowledge of Otsutsuki and their abilities (along with all the cyborg stuff). Even if he doesn’t know exactly how it was done or who did it, it makes sense for him to be more aware of and open to this possibility.

Boruto has the techniques of Minato, Kakashi and Naruto. 😂

Great Video😊 Concerning Mitsuki I think they showed the answer in the beginning of the Anime. Mitsuki was like the 50th version or so that was tested by Orochimaru and Mitsukis elder. It was to determine wether Mitsuki would choose his own fate over the fate that they wanted to impose on him. That is why I think he will find out eventually maybe even next chapter that Boruto is his actual sun.

mitsuki is a double agent and going to have a convo with boruto about the village and catch up. But most likely it will be a battle and Mitsuki will have a memory surface and make him start to doubt the last three years.

For the question why Mitsuki knocks out Kawaki I have a 3rd theory: Boruto can only be spottet by Kawaki because of the Karma resonating and vice versa. That means, that if Kawaki moves closer to Boruto, he will know too and Mitsuki didn't want Boruto to notice so he could sneak up.

Theory 1 I think Mitsuki has had Sarada in his ear these past yrs. He over heard the convo between Kawiki, Edi and Damon and wants to confirm a few things about Boruto hisself which is why he knocked him Kawiki out to go alone. Something is going to happen in this fight that gives hom conformation who Boruto really is and that his memory has been altered. Theory 2 Sarada will have the first ever mangekyou rinnegan which will allow her space time travel a crazy strong genjutsu thats can reverse Edi's and the ability to wrap the sussano around her and will give her a speed/power/defense boast Theory 3 Himma has some other rare dojustso we havent heard of which is why Damon is scared of her and why she can sense that her parents are still alive.

What I love about Naruto is the fact, that when I was younger, I was playing a rpg in a chatroom with some other and everyone created ninjas. One of my two characters was a swordsmen of the hidden mist, who had a sword that can change it's appearance by using chakra and who was a testsubject of Orochimaru. The other one was the sun of Orochimaru and Anko Mitarashi and also a testsubject of Orochimaru... when I was playing these characters, the manga of Naruto was at the beginning of Shippuuden. And in fact, at the end we had a swordsmen with a changeable sword and a son of Orochimaru :D

I believe nature energy will be needed to fight the shinju. If Boruto has Sage mode he could possibly use gentle fist combined with nature energy. This would allow him to disrupt the flow of chakra in the shinju and maybe even separate the clawgrimes from the peoples chakra freeing everyone.

Purple lightning may have been something Koji taught Boruto. In the episode before the Kara arc resumes, Kakashi and Koji meet briefly and Kakashi uses it on Koji’s shadow clone. Koji may have picked up the idea from that and passed it on to Boruto.

Apparently in one of the databooks it is said Boruto knew how to use Purple Lightning pre-time skip. So it is safe to assume it was either Kakashi showed him the basics and he perfected it, or Sasuke having seen Kakashi use it could also copy the basics and have taught Boruto.

Throwing his sword around and mixing the Uchiha sword style with FTG tells me he vastly outpaced Sasuke as a kenjutsu user.

I wonder if Shikadai also douts his memories? 🤔 He is just as smart as Shikamaru and is Boruto's best friend.

Iirc in the data books long ago, or in some source, both mitsuki and boruto were said to know purple lightning. People mostly disregarded this because this info came out around the time the chunin exams arc came out in the anime, and botuto only used purple lightning because of the ninja tool. But it could also be assumed that Kakashi taught them this at some point off screen before the time skip, and then Sasuke taught Boruto how to channel lightning through his blade. Edit: So apparently Sasuke also knew purple lightning, so that explains that

Im just assuming that the only real training sarada did over the timeskip was base training. If we go with the theory you provided a while back that sasuke, before saving boruto, told sarada not to over use her MS, she decided not to even really train it. Her base is probably substantially stronger than it was but her real growth and power upgrade is going to be something that we see as TBV continues.

Boruto has known purple lightning since prior to the time skip. It was in one of the novels and confirmed in the data book sasuke taught him it during part 1 but he wasn’t confident in using it in battle so we never saw it in the manga at least

Clearly it was important to the mangaka that people weren’t left with the same impression that we were after the Naruto timeskip; that he really didn’t get much stronger, or rather he didn’t improve his arsenal. Boruto has done the opposite. They’ve had him improve the rasengan significantly, learn flying raijin, get toad summonings, learn sword combat, and now purple lightning. Personally wouldn’t have gone that far because I wouldn’t have ever had these guys fighting aliens from pretty much the beginning, but I guess it needed to happen given how strong the enemies are. But of course they have every male character flex, just for Sarada to do fuck all. They can’t help themselves at this point.
