Something I find interesting about Damon is that he's also smart. He was the first one to understand Rasengan Uzuhiko and that he knows Himawari is someone special.

Couple things regarding Daemon: 1. When Boruto tries to punch Daemon he grabs Boruto's fist. The punch was not reflected when Boruto had clear intent to cause harm. Meaning Daemon's intent to fight can override his auto reflect. This comes into play when Daemon senses Himawari and rushes to fight her allowing Boruto to grab him from behind. 2. Code is able to grab Daemon through his claw portals to reflect an attack. Not only was he targeted by an ability but he was maneuvered without his consent. There are clearly weaknesses and workarounds to Daemon's reflect. The easiest being just portal him to the moon and wave goodbye.

The amount of fear that Eida will have when someone ends up destroying Daemon is gonna be so refreshing to see. They both are gonna end up getting some humbling 😂

I still think Himawari is a threat to Daemon because she has that weird "autopilot" mode she displayed before, as you said Kishimoto doesn't add those details for shits and giggles. Because she is on auto mode she has no intent to attack or harm him, she simply moves on her own, kinda like Ultra Instinct, she moves without thoughts.

Kawaki tried to kill code but got his attack reflected by Daemon which means that even if you didn't want to hurt Daemon his ability should still reflect you. It would be interesting to me to find out if Daemon's ability actually works on intent itself. Making the user attack themselves. Or their own chakra attack them.

I've heard the theory "just aim around him lol" as a way to defeat Daemon; but I think the end of the Code Assault arc disproves it. When Kawaki goes to blow up Code; Code basically just holds up Daemon in front of him like a shield. Kawaki was still aiming for Code; with that attack; he didn't even know Daemon was there until he got hit with his own blast. As far as I'm concerned; that scene alone shows that you don't have to be intending to hit Daemon *specifically*; you just have to intend to do something that will end up causing him harm for your action to be reflected.

This may be a weird loophole, but self-defense could be maybe the simplest way to defeat daemon? Like we never really see him attack people, and that might be because if they defend themselves [without intending to kill him] and he gets injured as a result, would that reflect? They didn’t mean to do anything to him and had no killing intent..

It's started in the story that the reflect ability requires him to be touching someone. So just hit him with an attack from range when he isn't touching another person. Did you miss this detail? cause it is super important for this video and is super easy to find out so that would be a Huge oversight.

I’m agree that Daemon’s reflection requires intent. I bet countering this ability will require something similar to either (a) Tanjiro’s selfless state from Demon Slayer; or (b) ultra instinct

Here's a couple ideas to try: Izanami: intent is positive so it shouldn't be reflected. Unlike the sarada abilities, you're not changing his mind forcefully, he's still making his own decisions. Thematically, Sasuke could go out like his brother. Even if it's reflected, you would be able to exit the loop easily. Get daemon to attack himself. The reflective ability would reflect his attack back at him, trapping him in an infinite series of attacks. Would need some high level talknojutsu, but daemon feels like the equivalent of pain from naruto.

1) code's claw marks are actually shinjutsu and was mentioned by amado in some chapter of boruto 2) Since daemon reflected code's claw marks, daemon can definitely reflect shinjutsu

Damon could probably be sealed either with the “Sage of 6 Paths” ninja tools; or if Boruto’s time traveling ability is to be believe he could go back in time and learn some seals from his grandma Kushina or from a ninja from the Eddys.

Might I suggest that the solution is similar to how Bane Jhons is dealt with in the All Guardsman Party. His reflection is running some sort of power (most likely chakra) so just keep hitting him with a lot of little weak attacks until he tires out. Then bring in the heavy hitters once he can’t reflect bigger hits.

I think you are forgetting that it was atleast explained that Daemons reflective ability only works when his palms are touching a person, himself or someone else. That is a pretty straight forward weakness

Didn't Naruto say that the 10 tails didn't have a will of it's own when he checked it using Sage Mode in the 4th Great Shinobi War? If so, couldn't an attack from the 10 tails, at least in the state it was in before code, be able to harm Deamon?

I think it’s probably going to be like obito vs minato, the way minato found a way to counter obito by throwing his kunai making obito phase through it then turning it off thinking he got minato for minato to hit him with flying raijin. this would only work if daemon turns off his ability when he’s about to attack 24:00

When you (or more accurately your thumbnail) brought up the Reaper Death Seal, my first thought was that it would work because it's an attack that damages you just as much as the opponent. So instead of the user sealing Daemon, it would reflect and Daemon would seal the user...but still self-seal as a result. Of course in practice there are still all the other issues you raised in the video, but I was a bit surprised to see that you went through three options and somehow didn't hit my first idea, so I felt like sharing. Maybe he reflects on a 1-1 basis so if you tricked him into activating reflect on you and didn't re-attack hed be stuck having to evade you until you attacked. Leaving him open to be sealed. &When I say 1-1 I mean one attack one reflect but he can obviously reflect multiple threats at once etc

One thought I had is to constantly trying to attack Eida if none of your attacks are intended for Daemon, but someone he is trying to protect I feel like they might be able to hit. Especially Uzihiko since it can just passively pass on seemingly.

Shino needs to be put on the front lines, the dude has not only not lost a fight but also inherently the genius and abilities to fight most threats in boruto, atleast give him a side fight to show that he's still capable

Hasn’t Daemon been used as a human shield to get in the way of an attack to protect someone else? Unless we were shown that the attacker’s intent also changed and I’m not remembering, this seems like it could be a flaw in this strategy.

Satori from the movie blood prison share similar abilities...so I believe if a character fights the way Naruto Uzumaki faught Satori in the same way then they'll be able to defeat him....or in other words via means of autonomius instinct since in this state it's the body moving and not the mind ....thus nullifying his reflection ability

While I do agree with the possibilities, I don't think Daemon will ever be properly beaten. I find it more likely that his power will be taken back to reform Shibai. Other than that, all good

so basically i could kill deamon with a large ranged attack in middle of nowhere because I usually forget why I'm doing tasks in middle of doing em so it wouldn't be counted as killing intent

Old school sharingan Kakashi was an answer to the "another dimension" theory. In fact Kakashi could've used it as an offensive move against anyone. With Daemon in his dimension, any attack that he would send to that dimension would automatically be reflected back to the caster.

I think a setting traps,using sealing jutsus,using genjutzo or teleporting him away from the battlefield would fun tactics to use against the reflection ability, also putting someone under genjutzo and having them attack daemon with no intentions would also be a very cheeky counter

Here’s a thought. I could’ve sworn Amado said Daemon has to have his palm in contact with someone else for his reflect to work. That said, what if one just caught him on his own? In theory, they could attack without fear of reflection.

My best guess is Daemon will go out like Grimmy did in Bleach or Takaba might be about to in JJK. He starts to doubt his own power/imagines an attack against himself. Like what happens if people change to look like him and start fighting. How long till he pictures harming his own body.

Hey Nick, in theory what if there were a technique that were to allow a shinobi to attack without any intention at all? Such as just reacting without thought (which eliminates intention). Or if someone who had gentle fist and forcefully activated the tenketsu points that corelate with the 8 gates? Since Damon doesnt have training with it, and all 8 gates get activated, would that be able to cause enough damage to potentially kill him? Especially if the intention was solely to open the 8 gates from a curiosity based intention or a "helpful" intention?

Himawari’s byakugan could potentially see past Daemon, so if the idea of hitting beyond Daemon is true, then Himawari is built for it. Also, unrealistic; but Baryon mode could work the same way as Uzuhiko too. Potentially Totsuga blade. Drunken Dreams? Doesn’t necessarily need to be Ill intent. A realm of drunken dreams seems pretty lit… for the first bit at least😂

Deamons reflective Ability requieres Chakra on use or even passivly draws Chakra. So just work against his Chakra-Pool, use an Attack that is so massiv, that he runs out of Chakra to reflect with. We see the Attack comming in delayed, basically you try and then it get refelcted. So this Ability buffers the incoming Attack, if the Buffer runs out of Space, he cant reflect or it will refelct but canot do it again immidiatly. Or keep the Battle for long enough so he Runs out first and dying by running out of Chakra is a thing. (3. Raikage)

What about Hidan’s technique? I know you’d have to draw blood from Daemon, but if you could, would that technique work since technically you’re inflicting damage onto yourself?

The problem is kawaki attacked code, his intent was to kill code. Little guy wasn’t even there and kawaki wasn’t even thinking of him. But code pulled him through his claw and reflected kawakis attack.

@nchammer A cyborg is a human that has been enhanced with mechanical engineered and Kawaki himself is an example of a literal cyborg as much as Delta who is a biological clone of Amados daughter is. So Damon is a human that got turned into a cyborg. He is not an android which is a robot with human features.

If Hidan somehow managed to get some of Damon's blood and performed the ritual, how would the reflection shinjutsu interact with Hidan's damage mirroring?

A 4th option for reaper death seal is that is double reflects, there is a reason its a double suicide technique, it could reach through Daemon and grab the casters soul through him

Come to think of it shinjutsu was introduced in shippuden. Isn’t Yota’s abilities just like shinjutsu? When he cries it rains, snows when he’s happy and lightning when he’s angry!

How about something like a special EMP type field built by Amado. If Daemon is indeed a full robot then disrupting how he works could fry him. Say it’s pre placed on a timer, technically then you could get a third party to lure Daemon there, that third party wouldn’t know and as such isn’t looking to harm him, and maybe you yourself get shocked but you’re not close by and that wouldn’t stop the field from activating. The main problem to avoid would be Eida, but Eida can’t see the mind communications they do so that would be the way to coordinate it, then the next problem is setting it up, the device would have to be distinguished enough to not catch any attention from Eida as she would actively have to look for it, it also cannot be built directly by Amado he would have dictate instructions through mind talking to someone Eida doesn’t think to watch on.

I think a good work around would be having the “if you think about hurting daemon you will undergo a calamity” aspect of the shinjutsu would be to make the damage a result adia looking back in time to see moments when people are planning to move against daemon and this allowing the damage to be directed back at the person thinking about harming daemon. This would keep herself safe by proxy or it could be to simply to protect her younger brother. As for what would happen with out the guidance of aida the ability could simply require daemon to be aware of said planning for the reflection to go off so adia would simply inform daemon to allow it to work even through time, or it just manifest as some kind of shockwave around him rather then being guided

Codes Claw Marks are Shinjutsu; Amado mentions this in Chapter #75 after explaining who Shibai was.

A simple explination of Damon's ability would be that it is some sort of genjutsu. The terms of the Jutsu would likely come into play whenever you see him and recognise him as him, a way around it would be fighting without eyesight and hearing etc or being hypnotised into either thinking your attacks aren't harmful or that Damon isn't Damon or something along those lines. I get the idea that the writer will pull some BS that whoever kills him weren't aiming at him though as you say.

So the trick is that whatever you do cannot conciously damage or be meant to eventually cause damge to daemon. What about a patsy? Or a machine driven by a patsy? Say, (put a genjutsu on) a mailman to deliver a seal like Danzo's made by a thrid party. There's three parties aside from Daemon and only one knows what the objective is, being far away also. It can even be extended so the mastermind never meets the pieces in person, so only three patsies unaware of the purpose of their given task are giving Daemon a full trip to a black hole. Then again, sealing could be counted as "not an attack"

Haven't finished the video yet, but I've thought about this before and my solution was if someone who is strong enough to tank every attack they throw at Daemon easily they may be able to push through the reflected attack and still make contact with Daemon. The question is whether the attack that actually connects is counted as the attack that was already reflected when the intent was received or if it counts as a new attack for some reason and gets reflected again. I doubt this is how Daemon will eventually be defeated but with what I know of his powers it seems like the most straight forward solution.

You kinda got to it but something like Izanami can be used without ill intent.... like with kabuto... it wasn't really used on him as good or evil but to accept his own self. But I would suppose if it was perceived as threatening it could go wrong.

While watching one of your other recent videos I had an idea about who can fight Daemon. I think it will be Himawari (as it was suggested in manga) with the help of Sumire. Sumire can summon Nue which 'feeds' on negative emotions. If it feeds on them it might also be able to nullify ('eat') negative emotions like the intent the attack Daemon. I know this theory is a stretch but it came to my mind so I'm sharing it. Advantages of this idea are that it provides an opportunity to fight Daemon and gives Sumire an opponent which she could be useful against.

Remember when Code used Daemon as a shield to block Kawaki’s attack? That blast was 100% aimed at Code but got big reflected

@NCHammer 23 There is another option: using an attack that even if reflected, still kills Damon. Could be a nice "self sacrifice" moment to save the world. A clear example would be Deidara and C0. The reflection of this Jutsu is the same.

The easy answer is circumventing the chain of intent, meaning an attack planned out through at least 2 cut outs… as an example, identifying someone powerful enough to capture a character close to Damon… then forcing that character to embed an attack into the character who is close to Damon, triggered by proximity and/or condition, such as a hug. The moment the first cut out captures the second cut out the attack is complete, and if there is no intent to harm Damon by either of the cutouts, the auto-reflect ability has nothing to trigger its activation. The other option, also easy, would be simply teleporting Damon to a place of isolation. It’s not an attack, and the intent is movement. To add an extra layer of complexity to improve the chances of success you could have a character under genjutu perform the technique, effectively making them a puppet without intent at all, casting a technique that isn’t an attack, which removes the character from the universe we want to protect.

.hack// world lore has the answer to this in the Epitaph of Twilight. Gorre the Machinator held a perfect defense and could not be harmed by an attack born by malice. Gorre was defeated by a sprite, Fili (if memory serves correctly) as her attack was based on mercy. The sprite took pity on Gorre and so her attack was not nullified and wasn't considered an attack.

What about grappling techniques? Could an attack be reflected back onto someone when that 'attack' is a grab?

One thought I had is using a massive area of effect attack on Daemon at close range. For example, let's say Daemon is fighting against a tailed beast. The tailed beast gets in real close and fires a point blank tailed beast, resulting in an explosion that engulfs everything in a 10 mile radius. Yes, Daemon's ability would reflect the attack back at the tailed beast but even with the attack reflected, due to its destructive range and the tailed beast's proximity to Daemon, he would still be in range of the ensuing explosion just the same as that tailed beast would have been regardless of whether the bomb was reflected or not. Basically, hit Daemon with an attack with such destructive force and range to it that, even if the attack is reflected back on the user, he can't escape the aftermath. Obviously this would most likely result in the death or severe injury of his adversary as well, but omelettes and all that

my first thought re:helpful jutsu that ends up being lethal was mitotic regeneration, weve already seen a fight against a durable opponent in boruto won by shortening their lifeforce instead of directly killing them.

Freak accidents (something falls on him), time-delay techniques (if Daemon steps on a landmine, probably won't reflect), or maybe, illusion upon the attacker (Aizen-Hinamori style, attacker doesn't realize they are attacking _Daemon_, hence "no intent")

12:11 I thought it just showed a way to beat them. you get close and launch a massive blast. It gets reflected back, but because your so close they still get hit by it. You need an attack to kill them, but one that you have the durability to survive. Also what about something like Deidara setting up mines over a field, and using ninjitsu to detonate them. Would Damon's ability stop them from detonating, or what they both detonate and the user would tank the force of the explosions. This is a fun challenge to think about. Here's another one. The ability reflect attacks made with harmful intent. What if the one launching the attacks was just firing them randomly, with their eyes closed. And someone else was telling them where to aim. The person guiding them isn't launching the attacks, so they shouldn't take any attacks.

14:07 Code's Claw Marks are a Shinjutsu gained with Shibai's cells. Amado weaponized it with Kara Tech. By mixing Blood, Iron, and Chakra, it became a Tech Shinjutsu. I believe the raw version is just dimensional tears. Like the zipper guy from Jojo or that black cavity that the Arrancar use in Bleach.

1- Make a Shadow Clone 2- Put the kid in Genjutsu by using the SC (The Genjutsu can not be reflected back to Shadow Clone becaue SCs are immune to Genjutsu)

the theory that if you don't intent to hit daemon you can maybe hurt him we can scratch to, cause i remember code vs kawaki, kawaki intended to blast code, and then daeon showed up and reflected an attack that had no intent to hurt him but was ment for code.

A Theory i have is sealing an area Daemon is in, like using the Four Crimson Ray Formation. If the intent is a given space then Daemon's reflect agility could not activate because what would it be reflecting. the fill that space with something like sand or water. He would basically just drown.

So to start, Daemon needs to be touching someone to use Divine Reflection. Those he touches also get the ability aswell. Meaning those he rides are immune to attacks. Simplest way is to get him solo its possible with a strong barrier like Crimson Ray Formation. Kawaki and Code don't have jutsu so they cant beat Daemon without Sasuke or Goku level plot armor. But Sealing will work especially if you set it beforehand as a trap. So yes Reaper Death Seal could work. Launching explosive jutsu or paperbombs near his feet or near a wall that hes standing next to. Splash damage over time will take it toll. Genjutsu on the level of Tsukuyomi, Kotoamtsukami, or Izanami. Daemon isnt Otsutsuki, Hyuga, or Uchiha so his resistance to it shouldn't be that high. Audio Genjutsu could work aswell. Boruto can freeze time and attack him. If he gets the Rinnegan Palms he could turn him into a chakra fruit to upgrade himself. Rasengan Uzuhiko because its not an instant kill to Cyborg level characters. And if it gets reflected Boruto can just deactivate it, that is if it doesnt make him stronger. Shadow Clones because with him not being an Otsutsuki im sure there is a cool down time before using it again. Like Pain vs Naruto at the end of the fight. If he gets Absolute Zero Blizzard from Momoshiki he could freeze the entire area/battlefield. Most OP AOE attacks should work. If Sasuke taught Lightning Shape Manipulation he could use Purple Lightning Current similar to Chidori Stream. Or like Kakashi did during the Graduation Exams. Aim for Eida so he intercepts the attack looking to tank it for his sister. Using Momoshiki's knowledge of All Things Shinjutsu to find a weakness. Jougan would be the easiest counter seeing it can do everything. Jougan has the ability to warp reality based on the hopes and desires of the user. Similar to Yhwach Almighty with the Hogyoku(if yall know Bleach) Combined techniques like Diamond Skin x Sasuke Kenjutsu. If the attack doesn't have and effect on the user, there's not an issue with Divine Reflection. If he can use Nara Shadow Jutsu like Momoshiki. Boruto and Kawaki can use Karma Rift. Jougan Space-Time, or Daikokuten Rift Snipe. They could just leave him in the other dimension. Limbo Clones could work if he cant sense them. They are shadows so I doubt they have individual intentions. I am sure they have instinctual combat experience. But Daemon could have the ability to reflect the damage he received to someone else in eye sight. Amado never fully explained their full capabilities, but seeing he got Eida's Omnipotence wrong he might not know.

Also, could Sarada’s new Mangyeku ability be a form of persuasion? It working on Sasuke could be a nice cover up for why Sasuke believed her and decided to go against his own memories bc we’d just follow the obvious trail of it being bc it’s his daughter?

The “Aiming past him” thought is wrong because Kawaki aimed at Code but just placing Deamon there still made it deflect

14:28 i dont know much about Boruto in general but I had a thought about Daemon's reflect ability What if, by using reflect on the reaper death seal, he becomes the "summoner" instead of the original caster of the reaper death seal, so that regardless of whether he reflects it or not Daemon ends up in the same position regardless? Flying Rygeen (or however you spell it). Instead of fighting Damon or trying to kill him, remove him from the battlefield so he doesnt get in the way using teleportation. No Malice, No Backlash.

There is a theory that demon needs to be in contact with another person for his reflect abillty to be active. Everytime he's used it, he's either clinging to someome or touching someone in some kind of way. Look it up. There isn't a single time where demon uses reflect when he's on his own

That also raises the question of accidents, like if he tripped and fell, there's no intent or attack involved but there also isn't really a way to reflect a law of the universe.

create a feedback loop the goes negatively for daemon. for example if you were immune to lightning release you could emit a lighting aura that would hit daemon, get reflected charge your aura thus sending more lightning out with no intent behind it. then just do that till he is forced to attack you taking more damage. profit

An easy answer to this is by incapacitation, like with slime or water, drowning the dude in water and being one of the shark people or covering them in the slime from the summoned slug

To activate reaper death seal you have to come in contact with the target like surtobi did with orochimaru and 2 kages and also minato was peirced by kurama in all cases we have seen so activating sure. Touching him idk

I always thought Boro's viral ability was perfect for countering Daemon and Eida, and probably why he was tasked with disposing of them.

I think that boruto learned rasengan uzuhiko to counter Daemon's reflection ability, I wonder what other abilities did he learn, maybe new shinjutsu abilities never seen.

Just dig the hole, fill it with water and conceal it before fight. When daemon steps on it pull the lever or something to uncover hole and let daemon fall. How could this possibly be reflected? switch places? A new hole will suddenly appear under you? The lever somehow breaks or attack you?

Wouldn't something like a pitfall trap do the trick? Or perhaps using an explosive to cause a rock slide that happens to hit Daimon?

Daemon seems to have his reflect ability active all the time, which I think explains why he's always tired or asleep.

Only two options i see, are teleporting him somewhere like i dunno mars or an alternate dimension and leave him there, or pray himawari got some type of justu suppression/cancellation justu

The random falling meteor brings into question the range or limit of intent. Maybe something natural like a meteor or lightning can't be reflected. But if it can reflect an ax, I don't know why it wouldn't be able to reflect anything else unless the answer is simply that it's not connected to a person. So would Kirin work, or would you get struck by the lightning, since you aren't really weilding the lightning, you're just directing it. Would it invert the direction itself, even though directing the lightning itself isn't an attack? Does the harm really necessitate intent, or just force against Daemon? It could even be that Daemon isn't even taking the natural recoil from his attacks on others cause it'd be harm to him, and it may be effectively doubling the power of any of his attacks if that force is redirected into his opponents too. There's a lot of questions, because I believe Kawaki's attack on Code shows Daemon can reflect, at the very least, any intent to harm, regardless of if he is the target of it is or is not, so long as Daemon is hit by a technique meant to cause some amount of harm. But it could even reflect any harm in general. Boruto should try kicking Kawaki into Code and see what happens
