@@2solidshonte827 but not in base skills only in raw power and both of their powers(boruto and mitsuki) are bullshit power-ups to physical strength and speed, so honestly if we're talking about actual skill Mitsuki probably the best ninja by far with Sarada second. Boruto has cool jutsus but he only periodically strings them together in intelligent ways, and doesn't use them that effectively. Pretty much every move mitsuki makes in a battle is critical and leading into something else

No ordinary sage is in anyway comparable to an Otsutsuki. The strongest ordinary sage Hashirama gets bodied by Otsutsuki.

It's not the same as sage mode, because it isn't a sage mode. It's sage transformation

It is sage mode literally. The whole point of Mitsuki’s creation is for future Ootsutsuki invasion. Mitsuki is a top secret project by Naruto, Shikamaru and Orochimaru. Hence why he got sage mode built in ready. But his body has to mature to handle sage MODE as obviously was explained in Shippuden that only sage mode works against Ootsutsuki and 10tails jinchuuriki levels. Sage Transformation is early level steps of Sage mode as a whole.

@@iambarryallen I think you misunderstood something. It was stated that sage chakra is effective against jinchuriki juubi. It has never been stated that sage mode is the only thing that is capable to make damage to the Otsutsuki or jichuriki juubi. It was stated that sage chakra is effective in general. That's why Jugo gave his sage chakra to Sasuke's sussano to make it an effective weapon against Juubito

@@iambarryallen second of all, sage mode is something you learn and control. Mitsuki activates his sage powers through emotions and has his powers from birth. Sage mode can't be inherited on genetic level. Sage transformation can. On top of that, Kabuto had sage transformation and he had horns on his head just like Mitsuki. The only difference is that Mitsuki has much stronger sage transformation than Kabuto had and Kabuto was mastering sage jutsus in Ryuchi cave

@@vvebsta6237 Mitsuki is confirmed to have both iirc. He just can't use both otherwise his organs start failing. Sage Transformation makes attaining Sage Mode easier, which is ALSO what Kabuto did. Kabuto injected Jugo's cells, and also trained in Ryuchi Cave to learn Sage Mode. Unlike Mitsuki though, Kabuto isn't a test tube baby, and is also a fully grown adult, so, his body can handle the strain.

Except Mitsuki's version literally kills him if he tries to use it to his full extent. Mitsuki is cloned and genetically modified from Orochimaru. It has been stated Orochimaru could use Sage Mode, but his vessels couldn't handle the strain his overwhelming force put on them. Mitsuki has similar drawbacks due to being a test tube baby. He has both Sage Transformation (from Jugo's clan, modified to match Orochimaru better) and Sage Mode itself, which Sage Transformation exists to make accessing easier, as Sage Transformation allows the wielder to passively draw in Nature Energy, rather than fully require stillness. And unlike Jugo, his balance is far better, so he doesn't go berserk. If you're important in Dragon Ball, you're probably a saiyan, and it was made even more of a joke with Uni6 being introduced, even if I like the Uni6 Saiyans as they're novel. Mitsuki is a FAR different case. For one, the only people who actually gained Sage Mode without genetic tampering are Naruto, Hashirama, Jiraiya, and Orochimaru. Jugo is the vector for Sage Transformation, which Orochimaru adapts into the curse mark. Kabuto takes those notes, applies them to himself, and also goes to Ryuchi Cave to learn Snake Sage as well, and modified himself even further, so called Dragon. Mitsuki was created with the capacity for it in both aspects. He has the same capacity for abilities and jutsu that Orochimaru had, if not more. At least Mitsuki needs to go into a damn revival pod to have BRAND NEW ORGANS GROWN should he use ST+SM. Dragon Ball? Bro, it's a tingle in the back, no emotional trial needed kekw. Basically any Saiyan transformation past the Teen Gohan SSJ2 scene has been a snooze when it came to being gained. We don't see the training for SSJ3 Canonically, and it's pretty bad on top of that, as it wastes far too much energy. also, you act like Sage has really been given crazy respect since KCM+SM. I don't really count 6PSM, as it focuses far more on the 6P than the SM. At least it is still semirelevant to the characters again, with Mitsuki having access to it and Naruto now being force to fall back on it.

There was literally a clan that naturally absorbed nature energy and Orochimaru studied them, so it makes sense that he could make something that could use Sage Mode.
