One of the great gifts Mitzi gave to those who knew her well was the absolute assurance of her faith...she knew there was a purpose for her life, and that this world was not her home. She accepted her Alzheimers diagnosis--an incurable condition--because she knew it wasn’t really the end of the story for her. She led by example for the thousands of people she inspired along her path that we can have the gift of hope in the midst of the very difficult moments in life.
