Using evolution x custom rom. It also restricts power menu from showing up in lockscreen. Maybe pixel os has it too

Yes, almost every button in notification panel had little animation.

@@kko9329 Not just the buttons, there was a whole weather preview above them with an animated scenery.

Not only Samsung. ColorOS did a similar thing too with their ColorOS 12. Wallpaper color picking feature. It changes the notification shade and some other apps' colour. In COS 13 the Material You style theming is in beta phase which coats the most used apps in the "material you" style

Funtouch os also have this in Android 13.....and i am using it

@@samyadas3925 Yeah it has but it's limited to only some combinations. It's not exactly the material You style theming that you see on Samsung and Pixel devices. You can call that feature in your Vivo/iqoo in a beta stage.

Motorola has the Material You element since Android 12, it changes the notification shade colour, picks up the wallpaper accent and spreads it all over the ui like phone settings app, moto apps, gapps, widgets and multiple ui elements. I don't think it's related to google not launching the Material You api as Motorola phones already have this in Android 12, I think companies are taking their sweet time optimising their custom ui to embrace material you

Many feature in miui13 arent in indian rom(atleast in my device). I hope it wont be like tht in miui14

@@kaito7132 I am a MIUI fan... you can call me bot if you want.... I like MIUI cauz, MIUI is simpler than other UIs & only bloatware I can not remove are Security & Themes app (Some Mi apps are useless to me...) but I don't use default launcher ... so that's a different thing... I lose some of animations cauz of different launcher, but it's better hide apps icon which are of no use, so they don't clutter app drawer... Themes are free & I like free themes & fonts ... it doesn't have confusing things... settings app is just way easier than any other UI.... I know I am admiring it too much & seems that I am a blind fanboy... but I am just here to tell that we all get our feelings attached to the UI we use... cauz in everyday life UI is what gives us a great experience... if anyone doesn't like MIUI, I won't say that they don't have a good taste... it's all equal... I don't use a midranger or flagship phone, I use a budget tier one... it got less features & a lot of things are missing in the MIUI I use... (I am still on MIUI 12, Redmi 9, indian version) so... I know nothing about fancy features... all I know is that I use a theme which makes me feel that I am using a stock android instead of MIUI & when I get bored of one theme.... I start using another... I haven't faced any bugs or app crashes or battery drain issues... cauz I use limited apps, I don't use RU-vid usually (it's just in rare cases).... all I have faced is missing features & I only commented cauz you were talking about bots .. so that's why I said all these things... I hope you call me bot too!

@@ironman0181 you can get it from a lot of places. I do not remember ta website but it was a ROM dump of all MIUI versions, probably the official one.

They can do it in Samsung's and Oppo's way if they wish too... the phone can't be turned off unless lockscreen p/w or Biometric is used.

@@d1vyvnsh Settings >Lock screen >Secure lock settings > Lock network and security. Enable it and device will asks pin/password to switch off, restart etc when phone is locked It's not as convenient as the one on Oppo as that will literally ask you for bio-metrics or pin when ever you try to power off, irrespective of it being locked or unlocked.

@@me.arbaazkhatib but it should be mixture of both Importantly for security updates If major system are late and delayed to improve stability no issue But security updates should be timely, as they are important

@@me.arbaazkhatib given all the fiasco surrounding some poco and redmi models, I don't see much good qc going around for the updates, then why THIS much delay? I really like xiaomi as a brand and myself personally haven't used anything other than their phones in the last 3 years but this is just sad.

@@dragonforcegaming7555 tbf, they did start fixing it, miui 13 was stable enough, and MIUI 14 is going back to basics and trying to fix the mess they caused. Miui 12 was crap though.

@@omnihein9322 MiUI 13 still was a huge mess on many phones. The camera app used to crash completely on phones like Redmi Note 10 pro/pro max, POCO X3,etc. Just hoping that MiUI 14 does a good job. I really don't want to see FuntouchOS in MiUI's earlier position😅

bez miui 12 based on android 11 which was very stable and miui 13 on android 12 which was buggy itself.

Redmi Note 9s here and it's all great. miui 13 isn't any slower/faster than 12 but overall a bit worse for my use. Did they bring the original left-handed mode with 14?

you can use the themes app for that, when i had MIUI device, i could customize a lot with the themes app, even changed the status bar with it

Themes App Is The Worst. Because if i apply some theme device performance and battery gets affected thats why samsung lockscreen customization is a lot better

I think he has confused Xiaomi eu rom with global rom as most of these features were available on eu rom since miui 13

@@lianus8724 Probably because he's comparing a Chinese based rom to the global one. If he's using Miui 13 Chinese version then the features should be mostly identical.

@@irfanhussaini1231 well i don't have miui 14 yet but miui 13 on my redmi note 10 pro (max) and redmi pad and redmi 9 (prime) but unfortunately has been ended software support for the redmi 9 (prime)
