I love MMA. I don't do it for a hobby . This is what I love to do. The different kinds of fighting just interests me so much. Im thinking of moving over there to train and stay there once I get a couple of wins under my record.

I live right where they filmed this. I sold Keith a guitar at Guitar Center. He's a good guy. He bought a pink guitar for someone once. My buddy sold it to him. Some guys there were makin little jokes. I said Keith is right over there, go tell him how funny that pink guitar is. Long story short, they didnt say any thing hehe

Greg Jackson is the Bill Belichick of mma. With Winkeljohn they are behind the success the best game plans and evolution of fighters like GSP into the best wrestler in the division with no amateur background. Also look at how he developed guys like Kieth Jardine to compete with top fighters.

13:35 Wink please; Jon's creativity is not limited to inside of the octagon. On a serious note, Jon have always been about being the greatest and setting records. Taking that belt away and breaking whatever record he was trying to set might have psychologically broke him. Malki Kawa (Jon's manager) is hinting at Jon leaving MMA, so we will see how will this play out.

What are you even talking about? Anderson Silva has revolutionized the world of martial arts by defeating dozens of pretenders to his title in spectacular fashion! He has made a lot of sacrifices to be where he's at now and he always trains. Being an MMA fighter requires discipline and intelligence. Please explain how one of the most effective and technical combat system in the world is shit because I just don't understand.

AAhhh man you don't get it! Gsp, clay and Jon used to be my favorites at one point but after gsp got killed by Serra gsp has only finished one fight and is usually boring. Guida used to be fucking crazy as fuck now he just runs away. And look at Jon Jones first title fight with shogun. That's what hes capable of doing to every oppenent like Anderson Silva but Greg just makes him sit back and throw one punch at a time then chose to TD whenever then use those cheap ass elbows. He's the best but...

Proud of Coaches Greg & Wink, but you should've rolled down the road to Gracie-Barra to see chosen 2013 ADCC competitors Don Ortega & Tussa Alencar roll; or downtown to FitNHB where they got top guys like Donald Sanchez; or Chavez Dojo where Invicta's Angelica Chavez trains, or to Santa Fe to see Quinn Mulhern and Tait Fletcher, or Tucumcari to Abel Cullum instead of watching posers grabass at the pool, eat lunch & play with dogs on dad's credit card. Should call this: MMA in SE Albuquerque.

Interviews were good but the cut scenes gave me a headache. They also devalued some of the things the fighters said. I think this is one of the worst Fightland videos in terms of post-production. It was great seeing the up and coming fighters and the fighters who aren't up and coming.

its honestly not as bad as it looks. they choose to keep it that way, i have it on both ears and i drain them when they puff up, then bam back to normal. some keep it for the looks of a boxer, wrestler, etc.

most have part time jobs.. at the beginning, there isn't enough money (if any) from fighting. Also lot of gyms/camps have dorm style fighter housing. some gyms also let fighters teach classes to new students. varies gym to gym.

Right on. In the VICE video at Tristar Gym they showed the one guy who lives in the gym basically, I think he came over from Australia or the UK to train with Firas Zahabi. I think he was a good amateur so may have been getting money, I can't remember. That's a good video too.

Man I love Arlovski, probably my favorite fighter of all time, but he looked horrible against Johnson, his body is shot. Dude's got balls and heart though, I'm not sure I've ever seen anybody else get their jaw broken and 5 teeth get knocked out and fight 2 more rounds.
