Thank you so much, Gabrielle, for sharing that beautiful ‘Phases of the Moon’ Poem with us. It really has helped me so much as you read it out to us. Thank you, too, for your continued inspirational words of encouragement and…of course…your gorgeous artwork…as always. You have become my serene place to visit where I instantly become calmed, reflective, encouraged and strengthened. 💕💕
🥲💕 Thank you for making the time to reach out and share this with me Sheila! 🤗 I'm so happy the poem spoke to you too and it means so much to me that my channel is a place where you can connect with more serene and strengthening energy. Comments like this one are so encouraging and supportive to me and I appreciate you for making the time to connect ❤️🤗
Oh wow, that middle part just glows! I love the whole piece, but those colors together are stunning! Thank you for the encouraging poem, words, and your very inspiring painting! 🌻
It's so much fun when colors work so well together they bring out the best in each other. 🥰 Thank you Christie for your kind words and for making the time to connect with me 💕🤗
Thanks for another inspiring video! Love, Love, Love this one. You have such a gift with color combination and abstract design. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful poem with us and as always you make my day much better whenever I watch one of your videos!
Aww ❤️🤗 Thank you Cheryl!! I'm so happy you enjoyed this video and the poem I shared by Becky Hemsley ☺️ It means a lot to me that you choose to spend time with me 💕
Wise and beautiful words for life in general as well as in our art. I love the moon phase poem, it is a great analogy. I will try to remember your encouragement next time I am preparing to give up on a piece! This week’s painting is delightful in its simplicity. I like seeing the salt patterns through the single layer and the luminosity of the centre is gorgeous. Your dry brushing technique with the iridescent colours makes them subtle and they add an important quality without drawing too much attention to themselves. Thank you Gabrielle for the happiness you spread. Have a wonderful week 😘 B xx 💙💫
Hi Bernice 💕🤗 I'm so happy I decided to share Becky's poem with you all. It really touched my soul and I'm glad it is meaningful to you as well. Thank you for once again showering me with the kindness of your words. They are received like a warm hug and mean so much to me. ❤️ Wishing you a wonderful week too sweet friend 🤗
#2 - Up close, the texture makes it look like you painted on velvet. I just love your painting style. It's familiar to me because, years ago, I did artwork that was similar. I haven't done anything for many many years but am finally trying to pick it back up. You inspire me.
Reading your comments brings me so much joy! Thank you for making the time to watch, to connect and for being so kind. 💕 I'm so happy to see you're feeling inspired to get painting again 🤗🎨
Beautiful poem. Exactly what I needed to hear today. Thanks for sharing. You were the one who made me keep going even if I felt my painting wasnt looking good. Very true its all about keep on going and eventually if we dont give up it will end up being amazing. Thank you Gabrielle. YOU'RE AN ANGEL. ❤
❤️💕❤️🤗 You're so welcome!! I'm so glad this poem connected with you too ☺️ Becky's poetry always brings a tear to my eye or a smile on my face. Thank you so much for making the time to connect. I appreciate you so much! 💕
What a great poem! It's good advice about creating as well as in life! I always look forward to seeing your smiling face. My daughter hears me talk about you, and I show her your creations each week, so I showed her your picture. She said you don't look anything like she expected (no one ever does) but she said you're very pretty! I didn't think you'd mind hearing that! ☺️ I told her you were beautiful inside and out! 💖🤗 This painting is definitely one of my favorites! As soon as I saw the thumbnail I knew I'd love it! The center portion with the quin magenta and purple is my favorite! One of my favorite color combo is shades of purple, pink and blue/teal. Even though you usually try to use simpler marks, they sure make a big impact! Of course, I love the iridescent colors, that blue looks especially beautiful on the "stones" in the middle section! Thank you for encouraging us each week to enjoy the process, have fun, try new things, and if they don't work out, hopefully we learned something! I've got quite a few birthday cards I have to make for February and March, so I haven't had as much time to just paint for fun, but I will! ☺️ Have a blessed week! I think of you often, and pray your health is improving each day! Love you friend. 💕
Hi Lori, my sweet friend ❤️🤗 I smile every time I read your comments! ☺️ Thank you both for your kind words! ❤️ I'm usually very camera shy and I'm glad I'm working on overcoming that so I can connect more personally with you. 🤗 When I'm creating, I often wonder who is going to appreciate my color choices the most. For this one, I specifically thought of you because I believe you've mentioned these colors as favorites to me before. And I love them too! I created a fluid acrylic painting a few years ago using these colors and an eagle appeared for me 🥰 It's still to this day one of my favorites! (Maybe I say that about all of my paintings - I feel like a proud mom who loves all her children equally the same 🥰😂) I love that you create your own birthday cards - I do that as much as possible too! Our own way of showing the people we care for a little extra love. 💕 My health is a bit like a yo-yo 😂 but, I'm being very patient with myself (for the most part) and I also give myself the space I need to feel the sadness when it comes too. I think perimenopause/menopause are in part what's causing all the havoc. So, C'est la vie! And I do my best to roll with whatever comes my way. Happy card making!! Big hugs and lots of love heading your way 🤗💕
Gabrielle, I love your artistic style, I could watch your videos all day. I have to admit I tried something similar on my own, and I have to say it came out pretty good! Thanks for sharing your incredible talent. ❤ Las Vegas, Nevada
Hi Allyson 💕🤗 That's so awesome!! I'm so glad you created your own and that you love how it turned out 🥰 Thank you so much for making the time to watch my video, to paint with me and to connect with me ❤️ It really means a lot to me!
I loved the poem! It can apply to so many aspects of life! I learn so much from you! Thank You! Beautiful painting! Now I want the Blue Pearl color! Lol
Ditto! ☺️ I've even caught myself saying '' it's just a phase'' so many more times since reading this poem ❤️ I'm so glad you enjoyed it all! Oh yes, that Blue Pearl is something else - you know how much I love iridescent paints! 🤩 😂 Thank you for watching and for making the time to connect Stacy 🤗💕
Really lovely! I love the depth of color in the middle and each element you added made the whole picture deepen with dimension. Thank you for sharing this process, including your thoughts in the beginning with the poetry. You make Wednesday special for me.
the past 3 weeks y've shared practices & practical implementations ii've chewed on to get thru this dry spell... this time yr poet's vision & yr painting bookends this new-ish season of integration w/o the angst of non-production... ii'm always amazed at His timing, or rather my availability to listening instead of doing... isn't this a certain voucher for intuition past the noisy mind & worldly distractors... that you are more His paint brush giving presence to those subtle cues we often dismiss...
🥲💕🤗 Judy, the kindness and love in your heart always touches my soul in the most special way. Thank you for being here with me and for making the time to share your wisdom and caring words. My heart is radiating and sending lots of love your way. 💕✨🤗
🦋💙 Once again beautiful art and inspiring message. I appreciated how you lightened the dark area. I ran into that situation on a piece a few weeks ago. I tried to send you are picture of my work but the email didn't work. Could you please give me your email again. You are a blessing.
Thank you so much for your kindness 💕 My email address is gabrielleannacormierart@gmail.com - I will look forward to seeing your beautiful artwork ☺️ Thank you for blessing me with your presence 🤗
I think this is one of my all time favorites! Your work is always a pleasure to see both the outcome and your clear explanations of your process. Thank you. I also loved the poem. One of my teachers from many years ago said that challenges are the way our future strengths introduce themselves...Those words have stayed with me and helped me many times to work through tough spots.😊
Oh wow!! ''Challenges are the way our future strengths introduce themselves.'' I literally gots chill when I read your teachers words and I'm so thankful you shared them with me. 💕 These words will stay with me too! ☺️ I'm so glad you enjoyed this video as much as you did! Thank you for your kindness and for making the time to connect with me! It really means a lot to me! 🤗❤️
I go through the ugly stage a lot. I think to myself, I'm just going to throw this away. Then I stick it out and it almost always comes out good. Thank you for your inspiration. This painting is beautiful!
❤️☺️ I'm so glad you shared this Sue!! I'd be really surprised if all artists have not experienced this phase at some point or another. Way to go for sticking it out and proving to yourself it can get better 🥰 Thank you for making the time to connect and thank you for your kind words 🤗
Isn't it amazing how adding a little bit of iridescent paint over the rocks just made them pop!? ☺️ I'm so glad you enjoyed watching this video and I really appreciate you spending time with me 💕🤗
I love it, ‘Cosmic Frost’ is what I see! The poem you read was beautiful, so true and relatable, thank you for sharing it and thank you for sharing your work! 💕🇨🇦
Thank you Barbara 💕 I will honestly say that I'm not sure iodine is the reason why the salt reacts to create blooms. I believe that salt has a tendency to draw water towards it because it is hygroscopic and this is why marks are left on the paper. It may also matter more that your salt be less powdery and slightly more coarse. Some people have mentioned to me that the salt they get from the store is very finely ground and does not react to watercolors in the same way.
Thank you for using my link to make your purchase ☺ it's much appreciated! And, I'm so happy the pen is working for you too! I love mine and use it in almost everyone of my paintings ☺@@christinecude
