I remember Microsoft making a Pokémon Go concept with Hololens years back. I hope it becomes a reality. That or Tamogatchi would work really well with mixed reality.
It is a technological marvel, if you loved the Quest 2 you will love the new Quest 3 even more. Today I was working with it on my computer using the passthrough and it is amazing to see a huge screen floating in front of you in your own environment. Obviously it is not yet a 100% perfect product, but technology is advancing at an enormous rate and seeing what it is capable of is incredible. In a few years we are going to go crazy about what these vr headsets will be capable of.
I tried it right when the update came out and I LOVE IT, the only sad thing is that I had to remove my boundary to be able to run across my whole house, which led to some janky parts, plus the quest 3 can’t scan my whole house without it getting full
@@RajPatel-rj2ff I have the regular one and I haven’t ran into any storage problems for games its just that the quest 3 cant store that much spatial data without doing some things, I would get the regular one but If you want to get the 500 gigabyte model you can. There both incredibly superior to the quest 2
11:49 so is there lessons what you could’ve done I would’ve done is you could go in the locker and then wait for the lasers to pass you in the boxes in the middle of the room you could just hide behind those and then you wouldn’t have to run back-and-forth every single time. You don’t have to run between the boxes and the computer
That is a cool game When I was playing the little space invaders intro game (First Encounters) I scanned my living room and it kept on scanning into the kitchen so I just followed the scans and it did my entire first floor (living room, dining room, kitchen, spare room, and entrance). I was blown away. Got a workout running from room to room too, lol.
I like the videos of people saying what they like vs pointing out what isn’t here yet. Ty for being so hype about this. A smoother Quest experience alone is worth it. MR is just a bonus to get better later

I’m trying to record my mixed reality but when I recorded I got a black screen besides all the digital assets (ex: the windows, my hands, turrets, my gun, enemies, etc.)
I can't do anything like this with my apple vision pro. That sucks I spent a ton of money on this thing to. The graphics are a lot better than the quest 3 though. There's just not much I can do with it. I think I'm gonna have to go buy a quest 3. I might return this apple vision and buy a good computer instead, for pc vr.
Excuse me, how did you record the video in the game? Because when I start the game, as long as the video will appear, there will be a black picture. I can't only see the gun and the enemy in the video, but the background is all black. What should I do? Record it all like you?
2:07 - In the future AI would be able to solve this problem by removing the user's hands in real time on both lenses using AI...we already have AI that knows how to remove objects from images or videos so this should probably even be possible right now but Meta needs to implement it
If they removed the character model from mixed reality it would look way better, now when ur seeing ur own arm underneath the character model it kinda ruins it for me
how did you turn off the boundry?? I set up my roomscale boundry for MR, it shows up in game, and then Stuff spawns outside of the guardian circle and when I go to it, I can't cross the guardian boundry circle.
Does anyone know why my quest 3 was pass through looks so bad. No matter what lighting it looks horrible. People are all saying theirs looks really good, I think I might have a defective unit
This was actually a local community center. Just asked for permission to record there after hours 👍 But the dream would be to eventually get a warehouse, that would be NUTS
