Drumple. Best lead character ever. Also, I LOVE the deluxe version of Mixed-Up Mother Goose! I played it when I was way too old to be playing it. Also, don't think for a second I didn't notice that Dagger of Amon Ra music in the background.
D-does the game seriously end by crashing? Seriously, like it actually is scripted to crash and end there, dooming Dumple to the Fairy-Tale world forever? Well, that ain't very happy for a kids game.
The cat. THE CAT! So CUTE! But the puppy! Oh my, I just teared right up! Reminds me so much of my dog whom I lost recently, right up to the shifty eyebrows when being filmed!!
A dragon wearing a suit and a pink fez literally materializes out of a book, and you just outright tell him your name and follow him. Not even ask anything, like "How were you in that book?" or "Why are the fairy tales mixed up?" or "Librarian lady? I think this dragon is trying to abduct me!"
I'd like to say that that cat has the best timing of all time. You simply couldn't have scripted the cat as part of the reaction, but it goes with the tone. Bravo.
We didn't start the heatwave, We just battled through it, Was too hot to do it, Scarfuhlu became and uhlu Because we couldn't stand it, Someone find mah sandpit... Ahem. Yeah, it was ridiculously hot, too hot for us Brits. We can only cope with miserable weather that makes us complain a lot.
+Scarfulhu Bremen Town Musicians is a somewhat obscure Grimm's Fairy Tale, and Book End seems to resemble the Grimm's Fairy Tale character of Hans The Hedgehog. Just a little food for thought.
This video is so dense, it's gonna be great. Did it take you 12 years to make? You see, that cat that jumped on the chair is a funnier character than we've ever had in a Scarfulhu video, he's the key to all this if we can get him working. Eh, who am I kidding, these men are pawns!
I remember playing this game at the library on the kids computers. Man that takes me back. The other game I remember was something called "Zeke the Geek" or something akin to that name.
I am not even halfway through this video and then your can't wanders onto the set like it does not give one and I have to pause the video because I am bent double laughing.
Mr.Pat Hmm, I only have it as the 'Anxious' theme from Gabriel Knight 2. I downloaded it from an album of ambiences from that game, not sure if you'll find it on RU-vid.
7:15 Well, that giant is well enough to stand up, climb halfway out of that hole and rub his bumped head - that giant is officially still a threat. A hungry, man and sheep eating threat. What a lazy game...
Kitty! I give this video a 20/10 but serously that dwarf really does look like Jontron. Also book wyrm would be a badass name for a dragon. Also also bookend will be haunting my nightmares tonight.
At first I didn't get it,but but now I know why you put the video name as ULHU as to signify you got rid of the scarf part of your name. Very clever, very clever.
:D This was fun. It's always Fun to see a new video from ya, Scarfulu. Totally relate to the heat problem! BLEH. Your cat & dog are adorable, btw. Pup wasn't sure what to think of you filming him. xD
One Sierra game that I think is worth checking out that a lot of people don't talk about is Evil Genius. Sure it's not a point and click adventure game but I think it is one of Sierra's best pieces.
Oh hey, Scarfulhu popped out of his hole again! :3 Always good to see you pop up, no matter how rare it seems to be. And I understand you're probably busy studyin' or something... hehe I probably couldn't keep a show more frequently than you what with my being a mother, a wife, and runnin' a business.
Oh I get it, Bookwyrm. Because there is a type of dragon called wyrms and he likes books. That is so clever. If you can't tell I'm being sarcastic. 5:27 Also I'd like to point out that I'm glad that he kept that pretty obvious unintentional cat appearance in the video. He clearly looked at the camera like, "Well I didn't see that coming."
Hey could you do a review of any of the original ace attorney games, judging by how much you enjoy adventure games, I think they would be right up your alley.
The legends have told that only true love can lift the curse, one day a prince shall come and when he kisses her she turns into a Ford Fiesta. That is what I call messed up fairy tales.
