The final two stages of producing a song are mixing and mastering. There is often confusion about what you’re aiming to do at each stage, and what the difference is between the two. I’m going to explain those two points, including some common practices for both.
We do this in Ableton Live, which you can get a free trial of to work along with the video at this link: www.ableton.com/en/trial/

Thanks man, I watched the whole series and I'll tell you why. You kept it slow. Speaking slowly allows people to listen carefully and actually soak in the information. Great job.

Sir, thank you very much for these wonderful videos of yours, the kind of which I have been searching for long. Being a beginner, I really wish if you cud help me know the distinct features of functions like cut-off decay, amplitude etc which we can find in vst plugins and so on. Thanks again....!!

Hey Noel, thank you so much for this kind feedback! I have a set of videos using Serum which go through basic synthesis (ADSR, envelopes, LFOs, modulation) in an easy, consumable way. Here is the playlist of those videos: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6Tk7-FzJQAM.html

Hey Yuanzhe, you're the second person to mention that haha. I've never noticed it but I think it's the way I edit, only using short clips, but I'll try to blink more...
