Mixing Colours and Adding to Spray Bottles 

Karen, would it be less messy to put the dry Mica in the bottle using a funnel, then add the alcohol and shake the heck out of it ?

I have a set of funnels and one of them is a baby one , perfect for jobs like this. I also have baby size silicone spoons and these get into the bottom of the mixing container well. No waste! A wonderful teaching video, thanks for showing us! Love this! ❤️💕

They all sprayed lovely, except the camera wasn't positioned right and we didn't get to see the last one white pearl. I was thinking either a deeper mixing bowl or what I do is use a very small funnel add the color then the alcohol, shake then set in this jewelry cleaner (which vibrates) for 30 minutes. No mess, fully mixed. But it was very fun to watch you mix all those gorgeous colors. My favs are the Cream De La Cream & Burlesque. Awesome colors. Can't wait to watch you use them. Blessings 💕💕💕

What an awesome idea!!! But I think I would put the dry mica straight into the glass spray bottle then add some alcohol, replace the spray lid then shake. It seems it would be a little less messy and a lot less waste trying to get the mica and alcohol out of the small mixing container that you used.

Great idea if you don't have an air brush to color your bath bombs... to get the mica out of your pots you mix in I take a spray bottle and hold at an angle and spritz the inside of the pots and all the mica comes out of what you're mixing them in.. 😍🥰 I love your videos ❣❣❣❣❣🤔❣

Do u use them to put in your soaps or just to spray the end soaps?

For next time I'd suggest funnels and making a lid for the mixing cup with a slit cut in so you can use the mixer yet cover the cup. Seeing all the colors mixed up looks nice.

I will have to try alcohol as a base next time. I normally use glycerin and add little heavy stainless steel beads to mix the color before using. Like the alcohol it is non reactive which makes it nice. I really like to avoid using the dye powders as much as possible, I seem to inhale it at some point every time and end up with rainbow nasal discharge and that it truly disturbing until you remember the source, LOL 💖Jen

Karen, does the rubbing alcohol melt the mica granules? I put some mica into my melt bars and when I burned them, all the mica went to the bottom of the burner and just stayed there....did not stay mixed with the wax....I wonder if I mixed with alcohol first and melted the mica if it would stay mixed with wax?

Get a small funnel and mix all in the same bottle. The essential oil community would have what you need.

When you did the cream dela cream and you messed the mica on the table all I could think of was that in my country we pay $2 for that amount 😢😂

I have the exact same bottles but they are plastic not glass.. Look just like them Dollar tree has them like 4/ 1$ 🇺🇸. But I don't like plastic I try to use as least as possible, but I reuse if it is plastic..or recycled plastic..

Do ya have a small funnel that would fit the bottle opening? It might be easier to funnel in the mica into the bottle, then add the alcohol and give it a shake... your good to go! ; ) Looking forward to seeing these bottles of gorgeousness in action. Maybe it's easier to put the powder straight into the bottle and then pouring the alcohol and then shaking it all, isn't it?
