Sage advice. Mixing and matching can save one a ton of money because it allows unlimited flexibility. The results are almost always better and more satisfying then following trends and buying everything new.
Your videos are my favorite for design inspiration. I love the black/gold Asian kitchen, especially the cabinet handles. My dad had an interior designer do a condo in 1966 and they mixed Danish Modern with Asian.
Mixing styles is the way to go. It takes time to curate a home and mixing styles makes your home unique, interesting and to your own vibe. I have a mixture of timeless design styles and when I feel like a change or adding a new peice its as easy as heading off to a thrift store. So much fun!
