FONDUST® is all the rage in the cookie/cake decorating market these days!!
What is FONDUST®?? It is a microencapsulated food colouring especially designed for colouring food with very low water content. It can be used to colour fondant, sugar work (before or after baking), almond paste, royal icing, buttercream, cake mix, macaroons, decorating gel, candy, etc. Practically everything . . . except pure chocolate.
This product has been on the market for years and is superior in quality!
This video demonstrates use of the product with royal icing. I am using just half cup of icing and a toothpick to ensure I use tiny amounts. If you are colouring a large amount of icing, you would use more. Please visit my blog posts for more on how to use this product:
