Mixing Major And Minor Triads On The Bass: Playing A 1-6-2-5 Chord Progression And Making It Groove 

In this lesson we'll combine the knowledge of major and minor triads and put them to use within a very common chord progression, the 1-6-2-5 (or I-vi-ii-V). Since some of our chords will be major and some will be minor, we'll get to practice both shapes. While this chord progression is commonly found in jazz, it's also used in tons of pop, blues, and adult-contemporary songs.
Again, this is a great way to stop playing an exercise and start playing music by knowing a bit of theory and using it to create grooves on the bass.
