Nice Video., I've been bleaching my hair for many years I'm 63. Anyhow I have really thick light brown natural roots. I do exactly as you do with 2 exceptions (for anyone that might have my hair type and don't want the silvery shade) I use a whole bottle of t14 and t18 and ONLY LEAVE ON FOR 10 minutes maximum. I usually don't bring the toner down to the rest of the hair beyond the roots because I use the purple shampoo every other week. Happy bleaching
You r sooo funny!! Love your personality! I have the same problem, the toner develops soooo fast in my hair and it comes out gray! U r sooo brave leaving it in for 10 minutes. Yay I'm gonna try this, ty!!
I read that if you want the most absorption, you need to apply toner on dry hair! Wet hair will dilute the toners. Believe me, I have tried both ways more than once, and I am 66 yrs old. So, I. have tried it waaaay more than a few times! Applying toner to DRY hair definitely works much, much better! If you don't want much absorption, then go ahead and wet your hair, but it will be like you barely did anything. I promise😅😊 Also, it is much easier to remember that you need to use twice as much developer as toner! So, you can use 1 bottle of toner, and fill it up, twice with developer and you will know you used the exact correct amount. So, I hope I helped. ❤
Does your hair ever come out splotchy or over processed? Usually applying a toner to dry hair encourages the drier parts of the hair to absorb or drink up more of the product. But if it works for you that’s all that matters :)
i used t18 and then the next day i did t14, to tone my roots more. but i did it on my whole head to experiment. my hair now has pale ash blonde roots with a dark silver/grey/blue mid and ends it looks unique! and i love it :D
cutting then bleaching and toning my hair my goal is a white blonde and i can never pick between T18 and T14 i usually pick T18 and it always ends up gray or some weird shade 😵💫
That is too white for me! It looks good on you but I prefer a cool blonde without white color or grey. I was just wondering if you should mix the two if you have both brassy and yellow hair after bleaching. It appears that you applied this on pale yellow hair, without any brassy. I will continue to try and find someone who uses both and has both brassy and yellow hair to begin with.
That developer is too high for a toner. If you mixed those toners with a 1.9%/6vol developer i promise your color wouldnt come out so greyish or dark. Higher developer opens up the cuticle more so you get more pigments in there, not only that but it also continues to "bleach" and damage your hair.
@@Silvntprincvss sure you can do 20 for toning... If you're going to take it out in 5 minutes. 10vol is an intensive toner. Pastel is what is used for higher level blonde/special blondes. I would absolutely never use a 20 vol on an already overall 9-10 base. That is absolutely unecessary.
Hi beauties I just got my root retouch blonde highlight pretty much all over my head but the color came out not like my liking it’s too yellow in my opinion, I don’t know why my hairdresser said she could not do more than this, my light level is on 9 ,I want to tone it with t 18 and 20 developer to get a cool platinum color, what you guys think ? It will turn nice ? TIA
Hi!! Your hair is GORGEOUS!! What level developer do you use? I know the usual is 20 but I was wondering if you have seen a difference in song another level!! Thank you!
With developer and toning you can use as little as 10 vol. Honestly i haven't noticed a difference using lower or higher but i'll look out for it next time :)
