That was a great question on how the sample rate could change on the mix pre. The exact thing happened to me. It scared me in thinking that I recorded my settings wrong. 😅 but I didn’t 😮‍💨

Pitkään aikaan en oo omaa mixpre 6i:tä käyttäny, ja nyt kun meni äänikortti myyntiin ja toista mulinexiä odotellaan ,saa tää peltotallennin olla äänikorttina taas. Oli hieman haasteellista löytää säädöt studiossa sekä ulosmenevälle mini-stereoplugille tarkkailukaiuttimille että kuulokevahvistimelle kuulokeliitännästä. Yksi PYYNTÖ mulla olisi: voisitteko mitenkään tehdä systeeminmuutosta tuonne St.Out.Mode: osastolle, koska kun vahingossa laittaa sen audiolta SUORAAN johonkin time code-valintaan, niin siinä käy korville ja tarkkailukaiuttimille todella huonosti: data-liikenteen ääni on hirvittävä ja voi särkeä sekä korvat että kaiuttimet.... Muutoinhan tämä toimii mainiosti, mutta tuohon valikkoon pitäisi laittaa väliaste: "do you really want to turn on the time-code output?".... Että et hajota korvia ja kaiuttimia. Kiitos tehkää tälle asialle jotain.

Oh my God. I've been trying to get these settings for so long. thank you very much. that is so cool. I've really been racking my brain for days and with your video it took 15 minutes... and even more than I had planned (recording the person I'm talking to as a backup)

I am planning to buy mixpre 10 and I need to record from 8 diffrenet microphones. My question is, will I be able to tranfer the data of 8 mics from usb live? Bests.

Hi ! Thanks a lot for your work. A question: when I record with 3 or 4 microphones, all the tracks are mixed in two stereo channels. How to obtain 4 channels, or otherside, 4 wav files, one for each microphone ?

I am very interested in this device. But I would like to wait for Gen 3. Since the mix pre gen ii is at least 3 to 4 years old at this point. Anything in the works? Thanks.

trying to get an answer as to why i cannot hear any sound in my headphones when using mixpre as audio interface and mixpre asio driver with ableton live. It can record in but regardless of my settings i cannot get sound into my headphones from either the headphone jack or stereo out jack. It looks like this question was answered a second time at the very end of the video but she only referenced an earler part of this hour long video and lol i cant find the answer because it was only referenced

Hello, thank you for the video, it is very useful. However, I am unable to see U1 and U2 in the HP preset. Does anyone know why? I've selected the parameters like this: Mode = Advanced USB = audio USB audio = Normal.

Hmmm...what is that cool little desktop stand for the MixPre-6 II?

This is a great and thorough demonstration but for some reason Windows 10 simply does not recognize my MixPre 3 II at all and I'm not finding any resource from Sound Devices or elsewhere online that might explain why. Connected via USB-C, ASIO driver is installed, latest firmware and software all around but no recognition of the MixPre from Windows at all. Can someone direct me to a resource that might offer a solution?

wow thanks so much for this video! Ive been using the mix pre for field recording or voice recordings and been struggling to use the mixpre as my audio interface for recording multichannel into ableton. through ableton it actually says 2 in 2 out hence i thought thats how it is. amazing to use this delightful piece of equipment in even more configurations.

what if I want to use mix pre 6 ii to sync audio with video cameras 1 (canon c70 ) and camera 2 ( canon r6 mark ii) for a podcast what is it i need to do ?
