Let's have a Mizo puan day..

Kudos man ! I’ve been living in Aizawl for 1.6 years now and even I don’t have the confidence to speak Mizo they way you do . I guess I get too shy unless I’m at the local shop saying “pi Nescafé sachet awm em ? “ or answering Kawnge e awm ? “. Your videos definitely make me wanna break the ice and try to at least speak mizlish !

Even Hmar puan is also Mizo puan, Paihte, Mara, Lai, Thado puan as well. Mizos are the people of the tribes of Hmar, Lusei, Paihte, Ralte, Thado, Mara, Lai, etc. We just named all these people in one term called Mizo. Some people misunderstand what really Mizo is, Anyway you look funny and friendly.

Mr.Kip, i'm really surprised and happy for you wearing a mizo puan. let me drop a few notes here. As you know , we've got a lot of Mizo woman married to a different nation... And Surprisingly, you are the only guy who did this kind of vedio based on our culture. and im very thankful for respecting mizo culture , and for supporting of traditional dress. Hmar is one of the tribe of Mizo, so, Hmar puan is also Mizo puan😊

@kip crossing The language that you are learning to speak is actually called Lusei/Duhlian tawng(language) but since it is the lingua franca of Mizoram, people simply call it Mizo tawng. Mizo is actually a generic term for all the clans/tribes(Lusei, Ralte, Hmar, Mara, Lai, Paite, Pang, etc.) that have similar cultures, languages, same origin, etc., and inhabit Mizoram. PS: MIZORAM IS NOT THE LAND OF ONLY THE LUSEI'S

Hmar puan is also Mizo puan. There is no specific mizo puan. Mizo is a conglomeration of different zohnahthlak tribes with hmar being one among them. The particular puan they've referred as mizo puan is actually LUSEI(the majority zohnahthlak tribe in Mizoram) puan. The lady that comments behind you needs to be taught from the basics!
