95% are not Local farmer they are "Reseller' we called it 'Kharchhawng'. They bough vegetables and something like that directly from Local Farmer and they resell with higher price, for example they bough 1Kg of Potato per Rupees 50 from Local Farmer and they resell 1KG per Rupees 100. So everything is Expensive as Compare to Other State (India)

One thing i realise watching these Foreigners videos who came to Visit Mizoram ( No offence though English is not my strongest subject😅) is that we the locals tried offering the most western things we have to offer but thats where we're wrong. Actually they came to explore what Mizoram is like regarding the Food we eat, the kinds of clothing we wear,, etc². Yet we tried offering them the same things they could easily find outside of Mizoram. Lets wake up guys what if we are the one to visit their Country/ States, i bet we won't be looking for Vai Thingpui dawr a chana/ puri, Chhangban, Chow, Veg Fried Rice, etc² hope you get my point. Instead we would be looking out for the things what is unheard of from what we could see in TVs or the internet.😬 POINT IS GUYS LETS BE MIZO. Yes! When we visited for Kip and Mawiis wedding we went to the local market and I bought and beautiful Mizo Puan and traditional beaded necklaces. I treasure them. And the food we had was delicious. My husband still talks about the chickpea Curries we had for breakfast. I'll never forget the views of the city. Be proud to share your culture. 🇦🇺

yes, just the product. The sole product. We don't really care about the farmer instead we care about the seller who took those products at a cheap rate e and sell at a higher rate te. So, we should not define them as farmers. The real farmers are way poorer
