@@mike550hes loyal to the company that gave him his first big time platform thats respectable and just because hes loyal doesnt mean he cant show appreciation for a legend
@@wcchains9782 Definitely for the next three years. After that we'll look further. Nobody in AEW would be bad if they really wanted to try their hand at WWE again.
in case u guys didnt know hhh wore a jean jacket when he came back from a quad injury in 2002 from a match with chris jericho and chris benoit and teamed up with stone cold steve austin. mjf is wearing a jean jacket just like hhh did back in 2002 when he came back from a quad injury
@@EvilChiId Warner is losing NBA rights for TNT. AEW is almost assuredly getting the rights renewed on TNT because they need content to keep their stations on pay cable.
He isn't even good in the ring. He can't have decent matches. Like he's worse than the miz, and if they wrestled, the match would suck. MJF is nothing but a glorified talker, scripted by TNT and TBS, AEW doesn't write shit.
They spent almost a year building the Devil up and the payoff is a kick in the nuts and a brain buster. And people thought the nwo/sting payoff was trash after a year. Tony is like Eric hold my beer
WWE is also so deep in talent right now. I think it's the smart move. Khan has to pay up the ass for him to stay and he's going to be THE guy at AEW for a while. The option will always be there for go to WWE. He's so young and is their type of superstar they want.
WWE would have wanted him for certain but they weren’t going to pay him more than say LA Knight and others they have, and so they can’t compete with Tony Khans money. Likewise they would have wanted him to go to performance centre first to work out all the bad habits he has and like everyone else in AEW he thinks he’s the best wrestler in the world and doesn’t need to improve. He lacks ambition so he’s better off staying in the minors.
Ah yes…someone returning but in a different company is a WWE “knockoff”, I prefer WWE right now too but this is just a bad take. Plus, this is great for AEW since it gives them an ace back in MJF.
@@simonszone3158 It might be good for AEW for a short while but bad for MJF down the line. He might not be as hot as he is right now in the future. Also, why is my take bad? You didn't bother to explain...
You are 100% right. I didn’t explain why I believed it was a bad take. Saying that a wrestler returning or something that AEW does is a WWE knockoff is wrong for a couple of reasons. One: every company does this, it isn’t WWE exclusive. Matt Hardy returned to TNA not too long ago after like 7-8 years away from the company. Two: The company got one of their most popular stars back after a hiatus, good for business and if we are going off the promo he cut at DoN, we are in for a good time. However, you rose a fair point about him possibly not being hot in the future. Which is 100% possible all things considered, but for the sake of wrestling, we have to hope he stays consistent or the booking becomes a bit better because competition is great between promotions. And MJF can clearly rile up and engage a crowd, it helps that he just returned after an almost half year hiatus. And since the story with Adam Cole seems to be continuing. It could help the momentum out a lot. That was a lot of yapping but if you’d want another reason as to why I personally think your take is bad then I’ll be happy to oblige, cheers 🥂
@@simonszone3158 AEW will always be viewed as a knockoff because they always mention WWE in their promos. They are inviting that kind criticism. When I read this promo online, I just rolled my eyes when I read that MJF mentioned Vince McMahon.
@@Bls-of1ld And you're not a real fan. Seriously, why do you even watch wrestling? You hate it and you bitch about it. Get a new hobby and stop watching wrestling.
they did Cole dirty...all that build up, all that story...for them to make him look like a b*tch...he should have fought back at least...Cole should have insisted on it
He was careful in saying he doesn't need a Vince McMahon, instead of Paul Levesque, just in case. Very well played by MJF, that was brilliant. You never know, in a few years.... 😉
