his biggest combos don't even work in shredder outfit, this is 100% true, believe it or not. Same deal in MKA.

I think the general dislike of Armageddon and Mk vs DC (which is kinda in between this and current Nrs titles in terms of combos) led to the team making the newer games 2d and using a more streamlined engine

3D MK was trash. The best decision Boon's crew ever did was return to 2D with MK9.

Sadly, i don't remember how i did it. I have tried the same method since then, but it doesn't work. I do have another Deception video to release soon (maybe tomorrow?), that i had to use a different method for, because whatever i did to make this one, simply doesn't work anymore. Very sad about it.

@@ShiftyGuy777 Unfortunately, Ed, NRS and WB are more focusing too much on the newer NRS games than all the older MK games. Capcom did a great job to keep re-releasing classic games on PS4 and NRS never did. It seems to me that NRS are too lazy to not a remastered or re-release old MK games.

***** I think its because they hit the wall, so the animation just stops, which allows check to do redic "tap" combos xD

***** redic short for ridiculous because I cant spell ridiculous (auto correct thanks) Tap because the combo would end if he doesn't block cancel (blocking to cancel the animation, giving the weird Hotoru combo xD) and seems to "tap" them with more hits, to grant more damage. ts:dr; it's basicually tapping to opponent to do more hits when the combo would end normally

armageddon has air combat, wake up attack and parry, but deception dont have, so how come deception gameplay is better than armageddon if deception has less features?

Let's not forget that they screwed up the Fatalities in Armageddon

When you sidestep, or jump over them, the opponent has to turn and face you first before they are able to move. It makes the combo true. Some of the throws are a little late in this video, only because it is harder to time them against an ai dummy. New video to be released soon. Lots of new combos. At least 20-30 minutes worth of new stuff.

Gabriel Reina You can still do stylish looking combos, especially with people like triborg, they just aren't as damaging as a 0 death combo is the most op thing any character could have. I recommend someone like kotal khan who can do combos similar to the deception and Armageddon era. (I'm talking about mkx btw)

Im so flad they changed it from this. you couldn't spam uppercuts anymore or do those super long combos. If you played mk before these you'd know that mk9 and mkx went back to the original style of mk games.

+Mio Tenacious Just finishing up a 10 month combo project for MKX. After that, ill update it with Kombat Pack 2. Also am making a project with VMAN for MKX. After all of that, im not sure what else ill do on youtube in general. One of the things i want to do is combined MKDA-MKX into one video. That will probably be my last video. If FF15 is any good, i might dabble in that.

i appreciate the extra love. Yea, i see a glimmer of hope right now, which makes me feel a lot better, and makes me want to do more combos. Just hopefully it won't die out again. I've just been having trouble dealing with my anxiety for the past few years. Hard to get around it now. Need to focus on getting my own place someday, and ill be a lot happier overall. Can't really go anywhere for now, so its just been tough for me, but im trying to make money from home, so hopefully someday ill have enough to get my own place.

all this combos are with emulator (tas) you cant do these combos with no emulator

The pause happens by not holding forward during the combo. Holding forward acts as a buffer to let you attack faster and keep you as close as possible to the opponent. There are combos when you have to press forward at a certain time as well. I believe Mileena's is one of them, but its been a while. Just try holding forward in order to attack faster, for now.

@@CHECK4900 Thanks for the reply! Yeah, I hold forward sometimes and in some cases, it helps, but with Mileena it hardly does and I still end up with a pause unable to continue the combo. Also, her Sai combo sometimes doesn't register during the juggle. Idk it's very tricky or I'm just that bad xd. Btw what characters do you think can easily handle the AI of the game?

it is, but 99% of the combos work on widescreen in mkd. but the most important one that doesn't, is the li mei one. Nothing even close to that is possible and widescreen and really makes you think overall just how different it really is just because of that one combo. I have a video to share soon with all the combos done on widescreen, except the Li Mei one. Sorry for not releasing stuff sooner. Lots to post soon. Lots of combos are affected in MKA, compared to just the Li Mei one, but still, the same differences are in both. On the other hand, there are also some ridiculously hard combos on CRT that are much easier on widescreen for MKD, using the glass on the beetle lair for kabal and noobsmoke being some of those combos.
