The deciding factors for that are the passive skills Precision Strikes (+30% Weak Spot Damage) and Onslaught (1-16 x 2.5% Brittleness on repeated hits) as well as the career skill itself (+25% Weak Spot Damage). With brittleness, you can offset (if not bypass) the damage reduction from the helmet and let the weak spot damage bonus shine. As for if bodyshots are faster, I don't know but I'd assume headshots are better since the build's specialized for headshots only (optimal might be a few hits to the body to build brittleness followed by headshots once the helmet's compromised). That said, the difference may be negligible since the time it takes him to precision kill maulers feels only a few shots shorter than I can body-shot dispatch them using a braced autogun (which boasts slightly better dps than infantry counterparts but still), but the fact that it's viable for dispatching maulers (and crushers) within a reasonable timeframe is good enough.

With no particular talents or perks yes. IAG typically do pathetic damage against carapace, but with brittleness and rending the story might be different.

@@swampfox1007 dunno honestly, since I'm not even Vermintide player, and I've seen gameplay with Beastmen as mobs. Honestly, since Orks have lot of specialist Boyz being similar to specialists in Darktide (minus snipers of course), they could be a fitting addition.

@@airsoftpopcorn I guess so. Easier to implement, with early generations hybrids being the fodder, and later gens being specialists. Still, Orks would make good addition for later phases (when the game would be still supported, hopefully)

I don't think there's any "bad" weapons. There's weapons that do everything too well and that makes weapons who have a niche "feel" bad. Like, plasma guns when you're surrounded by shooters isn't great, the new revolver not being able to shoot through friends and/or that many little dudes feels weird, recon lasguns can only deal with shooters/gunners and other more-squishy specials but, again, I don't think they're "bad." There's just better. And it starts so many arguments lol

yeah, Columnus needs a nerf, it's SUPPOSEDLY the "high close dmg, low far dmg" weapon, but right now the dmg fall-off means nothing on it xD, needs to be way more intense on the dmg fall-off. Also Graia definitely needs a few points of dmg, cuz rn it LITERALLY has the same dmg as the Columnus, while being slower and has worse recoil :/, tho it does have 1 extra penetration through groaner but that's it. Wouldn't mind if they give the Agripana a bit more dmg/shot as well tbh. Though, I do say, I hope they rework the "Onslaught" node, right now it's a bit biased towards high RoF/mag cap weapons, if it deals more rending/brittle per shot with less max stacks, it'd benefit a lot more weapons.
