You know what's even worse? There's already a Thanksgiving one that was added to the files, well before the backlash of this Fatalities price started. WB are willingly putting these in here regardless of how people react.

I actually miss the krypt in Deadly Alliance and Deception where you had different coin colors. They gave us "Cooking with Scorpion" with no extra charge yet they charge for a fatality?! I cant stand the shills who try to justify this shit with "every company is doing it now, just deal with it"
Because they couldn't. Midway released MK3, then UMK3 after that and then the "definitive edition" called MK Trilogy. Same with MK4/Gold, or even Deception/Unchained (not to forget Khameleon on Armageddon for Wii). If they had the technology, they would have done the same thing (granted, they could have with MK vs DC, but those were another times when they were transitioning to WB Games). It's not Warner, it's the industry as a whole with these microtransactions ripping us off.
Basically the reason they got rid of the krypt is so that you can’t unlock what you want to unlock, it’s completely random and there are so many unlocks locked behind the shop. That is insane. It’s really put me off the game, even though I loved the gameplay. I’m a person who only plays single player in MK and this is the least I’ve ever played an MK at launch, I just got frustrated how hard it was to unlock things.
Ed bragged all summer about how this was the longest they've ever worked on a game. Well if that's the case why is it also the most incomplete? Start holding him accountable
@@beaumcnally6358what he means by that is the servers for mk11 will still be open for years to come & still have content added into it, for example in MK9 they closed the servers meaning no one can play that game online anymore.
You can literally go to the movie theater and buy a ticket for a 2-3 hour movie for cheaper than theyre charging to watch a 10 second fatality. What a time to be alive.

Same dude. Super disappointed to be honest. I played injustice 2 and mk11 for hours and hours all day, every single day for years and years. Literally thousands of matches. But I’m done with this slog fest. This game is garbage.

First MK game I have ever stopped playing after 1 week. I beat the story and loved it but the lack of alternative costumes and the grind I uninstalled the game. I'll but the Komplete edition second hand in 2 years.
Exactly my guy. I played injustice 2and mk11 for hours and hours every single damn day for multiple years on end. Proud of my literal thousands of matches. I’m done with this shit show of a game. I’m enjoying my time with Mario Wonder and will be starting Alan wake 2 soon.
@@panicblinkday I'm playing Spiderman and there is at least 30 costumes all unlockable through story. The costumes in MK1 are not even worth the hassle. They look like random shaders. It's a shame because MK has such a vast history of designs and they put out this trash.
For 1200 dragon dongs it should be a skin, even if it's not a total makeover, for ALL characters plus a fatality for them. I am glad to see the fatalities are more simple like the classic games as they had gotten way too crazy over the years. But the fact that easy fatality is still a thing in MK1 is just crazy. I would have never paid real money for them even in previous games with more complex fatalities that were a PITA. I'd rather just not do one. Also, things like this should be free to those of us that bought the big expensive version with the statue (like I did for Series X) or even the Premium digital version (which I did for the Switch and PC).
I take solace in the fact that I'm not the only one who thinks Mortal Kombat is getting soft. I've been a sub for more than a decade, glad to see you're well bro.
With that price it should have 3 fatalities 1 for each holiday, not to mention they have added it a week ago with the patch and then wait a couple days before Halloween, wow we really get to use it for this holiday season.
@@panicwolf8586 Yes I seen the data minded by thiny the day after this post he confirmed it had 3 fatalities but didn't know if it was true, turns out I was right about the 3 I also got all 3 fatalities for 5 bucks I found in shop a better deal then to spend 10.
Honestly, I am so glad I did not buy this game day one since I knew they were going to do this from the start. I'm also getting tired of guest characters. We could have had more playable characters and Kameos had they not blown the budget on getting comic book characters with some grit to them. I wouldn't be surprised if half of the budget went to paying John Cena to voice Peacemaker in this game. And lets not forget all the money they probably blew on getting Megan Fox.
about 12 years ago i first ran into total mk's channel by him doing just what hes doing here, keepin it real with wb's shade. since summer of 2011 when mk9 was released n i came across content of total jus bein 100 and i was thinking the same things. i myself persoanlly, wish wb never even had access to mortal kombat smh
I want the fatality but I am short on Krystals so I am back to grinding Invasions to level characters for the 200 Krystals they give cause I am not giving more money cause I paid $379.49 already for the Kollectors edition.
Who is the bigger fool, the game developers, or the person who spent almost 5x more than they had to for the game? What do you even get special in Kollector Edition?

Yes, the pricing is off to say the least. But you cannot expect KL seasons with new unlockable free content every month without someone paying for the work done to facilitate it. I prefer this business model over a monthly fee to play KL. It also does make more sense because the player base would shrink dramatically if there was a subscription.
I agree but I'm going to buy it. I got JCVD with the premium edition, and I bought DA Scorpion from the shop, so I have 1,750 dragon crystals and nothing else to spend them on. Plus it might not come back in shop since it's a seasonal thing.
i dont think theres anything wrong with charging for a 3rd fatality if thats where things are heading it makes sense from a business stand point and is a smart move since fatalities are a big part of MK the only problem is the price theyre charging almost double its actual worth
