When I got asked would Car Daws have any interest in a 25 year old gen 1 Ford Mondeo 1.8 Verona which had covered 90,000 miles. I didn’t hesitate, a bit of nostalgia yes but I love the original mondeo. With prices on the rise I thought it’d be a great opportunity to enter the market.
And what better way to show the car off than sharing it on the channel.

I love these, my dad had a 1.8 lx back in ‘98 that interior was a nice place to be! Still pretty modern looking even now.

Hi James. The Mondeo was purchased by a garage In Tiverton in the end. The garage purchased it as it stood. Good result all round really. I suspect it’ll be on the road sometime soon. Many thanks Gareth

@@cardaws62 Hope it gets restored/preserved. A rare thing now that previously was commonplace. A bit like the original Mini, I don't think there's anyone who doesn't know someone who had one or has a memory involving one!

@@jameswalker7874 my dad had a MK 2 that was given to him. I think that was a 1.8 LX.. I’m 25 now. I was 10 at the time.. ah good times It must’ve been 2007 or something when he first got it..
