This hit home. I was that lvl 5 getting spawn griefed by a Rhino back in the day. I was stubborn and took the 50+ kills to finally get away without quitting as a small victory… To this day, unless there’s a godmode player to be killed, any tank I see is dead on sight.

Same, things were simpler back then. Miss those days when you could join a lobby and not encounter a booter, lagswitcher, off radar, god mode, one of those truly sad director mode glitch users (Because thanks to the utterly brain-dead half of the fanbase someone found another way to do it and then a bunch of people put it on RU-vid because that couldn't possibly backfire) I know it was far from perfect back then but god damn I will look upon that age of GTA Online with rose-tinted glasses because back then people weren't exploiting bullshit glitches because they can't play properly.

anytime I see griefers I'm reminded of this one mk1 griefer that wanted to start beef with me. I should preface that I suck at pvp in GTA. I don't pick fights with people. that being said, I called this guy out for being a piece of shit and he came to try and kill me. I was like a lvl 35 or something (on PC. on ps4 I'm like lol 105 or something along those lines) so I was an easy target for this guy. that was until he failed to kill me at point blank range with a mk1 while I just repeatedly riddled his body with bullets. anytime he tried to kill me with his mk1, he failed and died by me. anytime he tried to get into a gun fight with me, he would miss all his shots and died by me. the guy was absolutely pathetic. he eventually rage quit because his ego couldn't handle that he was being beaten by a trash lvl 35 player

Oddly reminds me of my transition from 360 to xbox one My brother stole the character transfer so i couldnt get my character to xbox one (hes on ps4) I took a dirtbike and a rank 110 was helping me while i tried to bring it to the free farage and out of nowhere he killed me and took the bike I spawned in his path and 1 tapped him with the starter pistol and drove away with my new dirtbike
