Really cool project. Not a vag fan, I used to work as collision tech for vag cars. But this project is so cool, very light body and tuning friendly engine choice. Can't deny the potential, this engine has. What engine code is this?

Hey! So sorry for not replying sooner. I didn’t even see a notification for this. Yes, at the time I was using the mk4 intercooler kit. I’m still working on this car trying out a different setup so I can hide the intercooler behind the grill and not have it exposed like it is in this video.

It wasn’t terrible. I was able to re-use the factory engine mounts. I had to source an 02A trans mount for the 02J to fit, other than that it was pretty straight forward. Harness I had sent out to be made for me. I’m currently working on sourcing some Mk3 fuel system parts to get rid of the Mk2 tank and such. I followed Jake Reason’s build on his Mk2 GTI for a step by step process.
