Bought my 2004 GTI VR6 new. It has been my daily driver for almost 20 years. 172k miles. Mostly highway miles. Mostly driven in southern California. No rust. Original timing chain and original clutch still installed. The only modifications are the addition of a K&N filter and replacement of the factory headlight switch with the upgraded VW OEM switch that allows the headlights to be turned off and allows for fog lights to be installed. Basically no mods. Dependable car.

That clip was actually afterwards. I believe it must of clipped a bump on the road right before it fell. I still have to fix that temporary fix 🤦🏼‍♂️

Euro spec golf have it standard with chrome and fog lights. Here we have swamp of them.

Right before I sold the car, I ended up getting a fmic, but never got a chance to install it. That smic definitely wasn’t doing the job I needed with the setup for sure.

yes sir, 337s did not come with sunroofs since they were a "track based" car from the factory.

Thanks man! & Congrats on the new mkiv. The setup I have is capable of 300 with stock internals. Since I’m only on the 2nd revision with low boost and weak timing, I’m gonna guess around 230-250ish.

yes, its a true 337 front end. its basically just a US spec golf bumper/moulding with the 20th/337/25th anniversary lip. you may be thinking of the r32 that does not have rub strips/moulding in either front or rear bumpers.

I believe they were Black Forest industries. But there are many brands that make them now. Urotuning, ecstuning, and I believe Vagcamberkit even sells them now?

It was the OEM VW roof rack!
