This was my car! I've spent $600 on coilovers and $2500 on coilovers in the past. Always believed you got what you paid for, but these Solowerks coilovers may have changed my mind. They're really affordable AND feel comfortable! Highlight recommend!
Hi guys. Thank you for the honest review of both quality and ease of installation. I’m considering these for my MK6 Golf 2.5 running GLI wheels on Eibach springs (that just broke after 12 years of Montreal roads and winters!!) and I am puzzled why it would rub with the coilovers set at roughly -1.4 in. like the Eibachs…… Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
Remember we mentioned we had around 500 lbs of man meat in the back seat so that little clearance in the back was gone since the spring rode lower than usual. Also we said we had the rear wheels on a 14mm spacer in order to create a flush fitment so that also contributed to the rear liner rubbing. If you run low with no spacer then there wont be any issues.

If I have these same coilovers on my car (06 A3 2.0t) along with upgraded front and rear mounts, ecs sway bar bushings and brackets and superpro control arms. I still have a clunk over bumps in thr front right. Would you guess top mounts or end links? Have you had to retighten your top nuts?
