@Bryce Czirr That's simple. I wasn't aware because I just didn't know and had no previous experience on the topic. I had no idea what dsg was until I started looking into buying a car. Your comment leads me to share the following tidbit though. Take it or leave it. Being honest enough to admit you don't know something is a powerful tool. So is having an open mind and consideration for others experiences or lack there of. Isaac Newton had to experience getting hit by a falling apple just to perceive something as seemingly obvious as gravity. Or so the story goes...

Glad you liked it. Either way it’s a great purchase I still love mine after 3.5 years and the DSG is so good it’s the only auto I’d really consider atm.

the manual is by far my favorite because "YOU" drive the car, the car doesn't, like it doesn't in an auto

At what mileage should you do that dsg service??

60000kms or about 37000 miles that is what vw calls for on the DSG 6spd.

@@misteret5441 that's true, 60000km, but I don think it is more expensive, depends, I do 10000 per year so I spend 6 years for do change oil of the dsg, I do for 400€, so per month is 5€ in 72 months, I thinks it's better separate the money for example and "cost you" less 🙂 I had one manual skoda vrs 2.0 and have problems whit the pump pedal cluth, the fix is 200€ + -, and if I need change the game of clutch bimass is between 600 to 800€... So this is my opinion , is more cheap one dsg and most of the time they long life whit the car, if we change correctly the oil 🙂 and manual we need to change to much litle things... If you have a very stiff clutch that can happen yes.

For sure but the dsg is pretty tough.

I see a lot f VW tuning shops in LA if not you can have a company like Unitronic mail you a uniconnect and you can flash tune the car yourself at home with a laptop.

@@Dan330i depends on which generation, my DSG mk7 stage 2 is pushing 350hp.
