Since phones started with fast charging I charge it in the morning, after I wake up, to take it to a 100%. But I do not charge it overnight anymore.

one of the things the S20+ has over S20 is mmwave. Although the infrastructure is not there yet, how much does that capability make the S20+ future plus? Would love your thoughts on if that's worth the price increase?

S20+ user here. I upgraded from the S10+ because I work in the phone business and HAVE to have the newest and greatest. The 100x zoom wasn't a big enough reason for me to opt into the Ultra and I don't need a 7 inch tablet in my pocket. As far as battery life goes, I'm a heavy user and at the end of the day I end at about 40ish %. Just throwing in my two cents in and feel free to ask questions!

The hardware is great, the software is shit. iPhone is glitchy enough and that’s probably the best on the market. Couldn’t do a phone that glitched anymore than that. Sorry Samsung, time to concentrate on your software.

I definitely do NOT charge overnight, with Warp Charge 30 on the OP7 Pro I don't need to, plug it while I'm getting ready in the morning and I'm at 70-80% ready to get through the day.

8:35 I don't charge at night either. Having a full battery for long isn't good for the battery in the long run, so if you do that every day, it's going to hurt the battery eventually. Besides, I don't feel comfortable having a full battery next to me when I sleep for like 8 hours. Because of fast charge, it's full after like an hour, so I don't like the thought of a full battery being connected for 7 hours.

It only takes 10 to 20 minutes to charge from 50% to 80/85%. They say maintaining the phone between 50% to 80% is the path to the best longevity in terms of how the phone will be holding its charge 15 to 25 months later...and thats what I do for the first 6 to 8 months. Once the phone starts getting to where the battery doesn't last as long (around about a year, i find you are forced to charge to 100% at the beginning of the day...but that just will accelerate it's degeneration. I carry a 3000mah lip stick charger in my pocket and If i have a back pack there is a 10,000mah batter in that.

I imagine having a cousin whom I could talk tech all day hahaha

I charge my phone while sleeping but not continuously until I fall asleep. I have a smart plug connected to the adapter of my charger so if it says "estimated full charge in 50 mins" I'll set a timer for the plug to turn the whole adapter off (turns off charging) in like 55 mins or 60 mins give it a 5-10 mins more.

Battery habit: I have the Lenovo P2. 5100 mah battery that lasts an average of 3 days even when I watch programs at lunch. Because I want this battery to last I follow the myth (YES I said myth) of charging the phone only after it dies. I always have a means to charge the phone with me and this is the kind of phone where I can be a daredevil and listen to music on the bus with the phone at 5%.

Funny enough I actually just started doing the same thing as Marques mainly cuz my charging cable gets ruined in my sleep so I just charge it and it's more than enough sp last me through the day (I have a s9 plus)

When Andrew tossed the phone, I thought that was just the case. Never held my phone tighter when I realized it was the S20

I have the S20+ and I am not happy with 2 things: 1. battery - hardly lasts a day (when on 120 hz always) 2. the fingerprint sensor - works only every 2nd time ... the rest of the phone I love, though

With Samsung promoting and improving on Dex, the audio jack is actually more useful to output audio to your desktop/lecture hall speakers. Irony there.

My charging habits changed with the Note 10+. Stopped charging overnight and just top it up in the car on the way to or from work and whilst in the shower. I used to charge up over night and then again before I left the house haha
