Today, we installed an OEM Audi TT-S short shifter in the MKV GTI! enjoy!
Keep in mind that we're no mechanics and this, by no means, is the the perfect way to install the shifter. However, this is how we did it and it worked well for us.

I dont see an aluminum plate under your intake. Didnt you get it with this set? It could be alot cooler to your intake if you get one.

I have a VW Rabbit 07. I'm looking to make my first mod, would you be willing to share the link of where you got the short shifter?

SoulEchoz sweet! The short shifter in my car won’t work in yours as the GTI is a 6-speed manual and I believe the Rabbit is a 5-speed manual. However, I get most of my parts from ECS Tuning! Check out their website and they’ll have a list of shifter options for the MKV Rabbit specifically. Thanks for your support!

It’s a BFI shift knob. Look up Black Forest industries, they’re definitely one of the more popular shift knobs. Great quality too!

Ruse iBrzrk his Gti is Unitronic stage 2 I believe with a Neuspeed intake, CTS Catch Can, 2.5" Techtonic exhaust
