I really like the idea of darker themes tbh, and this isn't dark to the point where I can't see the track so yeah this is really nice. I think it just might be a bit unnatural with the lighting being what appears to be noon, but it's quite dim. Correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like you're kinda going for the MK8 DSMC in terms of the lighting, and even on that it's a bit brighter outside the forest. Maybe a sunset theme might make that darkness appear more natural, or add even more clouds/dark ambience? Really cool tho man, happy to see you hard at work with these :)

cool track but it’s kinda dark. It’s not very fitting for a happy chaotic Mario circuit race

Idk if it's the textures or the shadows, but the track seems a bit too dark.
