Each vod review lasts for approximately 30 minutes (the timer on screen is how much longer the vod review will last).
The players who are vod reviewed indicate 2 key moments they want to get a closer look at, what they should have done, how could they position better etc. After the 2 key moments are analyzed, mL7 continues watching the vod and review small mistakes. When there's 5-7 minutes left he'll do a summary of the things the person who is vod reviewed should focus on and small tips and tricks on how to improve those parts of their gameplay.
To participate, you need to be a Twitch subscriber, join Discord, link your Twitch to Discord and post the game code you want reviewed in #subs_vod_review channel. Every week mL7 will do 2-4 vod reviews which will be chosen randomly.

Can you see if you can find a vod of a higher level vod like masters or gm so higher level players can find some more value? Not that everyone has you be just I wanna see u analyze 1 or 2 higher ones

even as someone who isn't in a higher rank, I do think it would be interesting to see one eventually. I'm never there on teaching Tuesdays so I don't know how it works but it could be nice. I like seeing what I'll still be working on if I get to a higher rank and even if I can't implement the specific advice (it's not relevant or I haven't mastered the skills that make the specific advice possible), I still learn a lot from how the higher ranked person is doing the things that I'm currently working on

What happens when I try to apply pressure is that my team leaves me out to dry and they don't apply any pressure with me. Then the enemy team kills me because I have no help, no peel, no attention, nothing at all from my team. And if I do push to payload they then feed their brains out in enemy spawn. It is a catch 22.

So wait until your team engages to apply pressure - you can use the time to assess the situation and pick your position, and then steal their kills.

Do you communicate with your team or just expect them to read your mind?

what I try to do is focus on what my team is doing. not what I think they should be doing, just what they're doing. then I ask myself what I can do to increase their chances of success. this is an easy and simplistic example: if I'm playing Ana, I don't nano my tank and expect them to know what I want them to do. I'll wait until my tank goes in and THEN nano them. when they're the one who chooses to go in, they generally have a reason for it, so giving them nano helps their chances of achieving their goal. another example is picking a damage boost target as Mercy. I look at who is actively doing damage and who needs an extra oomph in order to secure a kill (unless I'm specifically trying to help someone get ult and we don't necessarily need to secure specific kills, in which case I just care if they're in a position to do damage). it's much better to help the person who's being aggressive and doing damage than just hold right click on someone who isn't getting any value just because you think you should be boosting them. basically, learning to read your team is an important skill that will help you support them better. you can't control what they will do, even if you are shot calling, i.e., being the one to call out specific plays for the team to do ("okay, monkey, if you want to jump the backline, I'll nano you and Cassidy can follow up"). this will help you stop wasting your resources when your team isn't ready to go in so you will have those resources available when your team does actually go in. thinking about it this way has REALLY helped me.
