It's just an extra step to take in the uploading process in making sure your outro overlays don't conflict with what's on screen. I see this a lot with sports highlights, if creators just put an actual outro on their videos they would avoid all of this crap.

I think it was Mussina who pitched in the 1993 All Star game. The Orioles and Jays were arch rivals. A lot of Jays made the game, and Oriole press stoked up fans' feelings, resulting in booing of Cito Gaston and the players. Late in the game , Mussina showed up Gaston by warming up on his own. Fine, Gaston said, and let the home player sit, unused.

Is it just me, or are the broadcast's strike zones always so damn inaccurate because the broadcast's K zone doesn't account for 3 dimensions (only x and y)? Like it always shows where a ball ends up, not where a ball passes THROUGH. And according to the rule book, as long as even the smallest stitch passes through the zone, it is a strike

It does pick up where it goes through the zone. Not sure how the technology works but it's pretty good.
@TriPlaySports

@@ihadtomove no, it almost never works. The camera and the broadcasting system is superficial and very flawed. On a lot of occasions, pitchers throw pitches where it passes through the corner, and it ends up way out of the zone, yet the camera only shows where the ball ended up.

I grew up in baseball playing at 8 years old to little league, pony league, colt league, Senior league, High School, semi pro in the Spanish American League, the Latin League, I played against teams in the Mexican Professional League and I have never seen how Unprofessional Major League umpires are. They seem to deliberately taunt pitchers, and batters to throw them out of the games. Unfortunately the Major league players themselves have no self control in the way they respond to the bad calls in front of thousands of fans including children, who will grow up thinking that arguing and having tantrums in the field is how they will have to act in baseball. Theses guys are supposed to be Professionals, getting paid millions. Another thing, the way they tear up team property that they didn’t buy, like breaking bats bashing water coolers in the dugout and destroying property. The league has to implement harsher policies on Professional behavior, including the Umpires who seem to love attention by provoking the majority of the incidents on the fields. The league has to be more transparent by making public the action it has taken against Umpires and players who display unprofessional conduct on the field of play, not only in the players private lives.
