MLB hit by pitch problem continues to get worse! What can be done? 

cut roster spots for pitchers. institute that 6 inning rule. make pitchers actually work on their craft instead of this garbage. Look at this year...Betts had his hand broken. Harper last year. Harper got hit again yesterday. Austin Riley broken hand. etc etc This isn't a rare event. This is a problem. Does baseball want their stars going on the IR with these injuries? It's beyond dumb.

Oh add Teoscar Hernandez to that HBP injury list now to.

Upgrading the penalty for hitting the Batter might provide some relief to this epidemic. Currently, the penalty is the Batter is awarded first-base. Instead, I propose we award the Batter third-base, causing the runners occupying any bases to score. If the Batter is struck in the head -- award a homeruns. Perhaps over time, increasing the disincentive for hitting the Batter may weed-out pitchers that have control issues.

the MLBPA and its pitcher populous has to stand together and impress to teams that throwing as hard as possible is not good for the sport and player injuries; both to the batters and pitchers alike.

When all the top players get injured due to HBP & new rules pace of play and 105 PH fast balls breaking their shins maybe MLB will have to take notice because the fans won't want to watch baseball with no Top Players left to play.

I still remember a time when hitters used to get hit, drop their bat, and jog to first base without putting on a cry baby show, and clearing the dugouts each time. The players are too whiny and pampered, and the pitchers aren't good enough anymore. "The art of pitching" has completely disappeared. The game sucks. Period.

Start Giving the Hit Batter Second Base instead of only First Base. Make it hurt the Pitcher more.

Make a hit by pitch a double make the pitcher run the bases if DH gets a hit. make throwing the bat at the pitcher a warning

Make it a rule that if the pitcher hits someone, they have to leadoff the next inning

Getting hit in the helmet should result in more of a consequence than just a walk. It should be an automatic ejection for the pitcher one. Mistake or not. Next, should a helmet hit result in a run? Or award 2nd base?

Players should be able to wear anything that they want to protect themselves from injury, either batter or hitter.

I say that if a pitcher is ruled to intentionally hit a batter and/or hits a batter above the armpits, the pitchers team loses the DH AND the pitcher must now hit at least once and have the possible wrath of the other team. I think that'd settle things down quick 😂

If you hit a player on purpose its a mandatory 10 game suspension. That would solve that problem real quick.
