simpla fly most positive that Avisail Garcia is nowhere near as good as Howie Kendrick bro, Kendrick is batting like .320 and is helping the Nats get back in the run for the division, wth has Avisail Garcia done?
I guess I’m Bias but u can’t say Gio Urshela is overrated. He’s come in clutch plays a solid third base hits for average. U can’t base everything off of prior stats, this is about right now.
I’m a Phillies fan and I usually disagree with your Phillies rankings but I think that Nola ranking was perfect he is having a bad season so far so I respect it
I'm a Yankees fan and I agree with Urshela. Yeah he is having a good year and he is fine at third now, but he will eventually go back to what he was with the Indians. It's like people have never seen a hot start before
@@huntrc1978 umm yeah he is. have you not seen his stats in the last 2 weeks?? and regardless of the last 2 weeks is pretty underrated player. he's got a good arm, drives in runs and has over 300 hrs.
Thank you for acknowledging Castellanos. People are saying he’s having a bad year because his homeruns and average are down, but he’s one behind Xander Boegarts for the AL lead in doubles. If he didn’t play half his games in Comerica Park he could easily hit 20+ HRs a year.
Nathan Macias He’s been sitting mid 90’s this season. His velocity is no where near what it was even last year. His slider is way better than it was in the past though.
I don’t think jay Bruce will stay this hot either, just riding his wave right now. Nola is having a weird year so I have to agree with you. Good video from a philly fan 👍🏼
Gio is JUST AS GOOD defensively as arenado and Chapman if not, a TINY bit worse, and he is WAY better than Machado, and still is hitting like an all-star!!
slm2455 shut the hell up😂😂 Do you even watch baseball??? Arenado, Chapman, And Machado are leaps and bounds better than Urshela, Wait until you get Andujar back and Gio becomes a sub and probably gets traded, he’s only a rental for the yanks and for people to think he is all that great is absurd
Marc, applause for not overrating your Mets guys. You did this video perfectly, save for two: David Price is, has been, and always will be, overrated. Brandon Crawford? You need to watch more Giants games, his defense is still Gold Glove caliber. Now, his offense sucks( he's being asked to be a #5 or # 6 hitter when he's a #7 hitter, at best). If you were going after him on that, fair. Watch some Giants games, you'll change your mind.
He's a great pitcher, but when he mess up, he tends to do it big time, plus he's a really hot headed pitcher and he's not very good during postseason, so probably that's the reason why he's been called a washed-up player. He's slightly overrated in my opinion, but I definitely can see why most people won't agree with that, which is cool. I've said a lot of times that he's overrated, but can't argue with facts; yet I still find a lot of hype about him, considering that he's not going through his best season (not bad either, though)
His career era is low 2s lmao. He has a 3.00 era and ppl melt down. He’s the best pitcher of the last 10-15 years and it’s not close at all. Where do you get your numbers from my guy? Go look at a stats site. His career era is a full point lower than mad max or Greinke or Verlander. You can call him a hot head all ya want but so is trev Bauer so is machado so is Donaldson etc...... but ppl don’t have the same hate for them. The reason ppl take a jab at you is because your the best. He was the best of his time. Degrom owns that now, even tho he can’t throw hardly any innings and is soft as crap. He’s good when he does pitch. But degrom ain’t starting 32+ games throwing 220 innings. That’s never gonna happen. Kershaw looked fine last post season! Ppl said the same thing about a rod u til 2009 rolled around and he smashed the crap outta the supposed beat pitching Phillies. Him and Matsui carried that team. I respect you got an opinion, we all do. But please go look the numbers up and then look up the numbers of who you think was the best In The 2010s and I believe you’ll change your mind. Good day
ik you probably dont care but i do what do you think of hanser alberto or trey mancani? both are hitting .300 or near it and i need something to root for as an orioles fan. what you think?
Andujar is the third baseman of the future but Urshellas defence is definitely up there with those guys that you mentioned. He makes pretty much every play and has an arm that is unbelievable.
Dude, we Cubs fans know Kyle Schwarber isn't that good, he was amazing in the 2016 world series but after that he has been ok hitting but HORRIBLE defensively (COUGH COUGH MISSING A CATCH COUGH COUGH PUNCHING A WALL)so we all know he is bad and he's only slightly overrated because there's still idiots who think he is a fricken deity or something. Also I went to a Cubs game and Cubs fans were literally booing Yu Darvish so i guess your rating was fair???? He's pitching ok as I'm writing this but yeah we still expect him to be good and he probably won't be anytime soon or ever.
Great video but I feel the past doesn't need to reflect on the current season (talking about Urshela)he's a very good hitter when needed and overall he's produced pretty good numbers and is definitely not on the level of arenado and chapman at defense. He is very good though. Just my thoughts, great video Marc!
Crawford's defense wasn't good earlier this year but it has really picked up. He looks like his old self again defensively. Offensively is another story. I think he was one of the best in the past 8 or 9 years or so overall. But it also kinda seems like you hate the Giants lol
Alexis Toro McNeil is a bit overrated in my opinion, yeah he hits for average and is versatile but has basically no power. Mets fans (including Marc) call him a superstar and he’s not
@Evan Wladkowski I can understand that, but a good contact hitter can come in clutch. Even though he doesn’t hit that many homeruns, he gets a decent amount of doubles and some triples. He mostly hits singles, but getting on base is critical because when a power hitter comes up, and he’s on base, he will have a good chance to score. I don’t think he’s a superstar, but I still think he’s a quality player
I completely agree with your list except for I think Shwarber isn’t as overrated as you think he is. He’s shown he can be great and he’s young. He is also starting to pick it back up recently. Not a Cubs fan either 😁
I would say that Pujols is properly rated. People have accepted that he's a shell of his former self. But fans still go because it's still Pujols. He's a legend even if he is an old and declined. Plus, it's fun to watch him break milestones like he did a few days ago with his 200 HR as an Angel.
I believe that a lot of people still get excited to see Albert Pujols play because he's definitely an All Star legend, because everybody knows that he is currently not even close to the great player he was once, but the guy's still a legend, and regardless of his current playing, people want to see THE guy. At least, that's what I think
As a Giants fan, I think Crawford is the best fielding SS, but he’s been terrible this year. As a fielder, he’s a top 3 SS, but overall he’s definitely not a top 5 SS. He’s been hitting below .200 since July of 2018
I'm a life long Cubbie who has many Cub fan friends and who follows several pages and groups and talks with dozens of Cubs fans on a daily basis. No one thinks Schwarber is super good. Most Cubs fans know he is an average bat with power who has a great arm and terrible outfield instincts. Just my two cents, not sure why non-Cubbies think that Cubs fans still love him so much.
I am a die hard Yankees fan and Gio Urshela is doing very good at the time but like Mark said you don't go from being not a good player at all to being this awesome third baseman Didi came back early so now Urshela has time off and I don't think he will be our third baseman.
bcm200 Gio is our third baseman, DJ is utility, dj Can play anything so, that means we can rest somebody and put him in. Which also means everyone will have a lot of playing time.
@@GiovannMan yes but even though Gio is doing very good we have to remember he was brought up from triple a and right now he isn't playing Torres at second Didi at short and D.j at third that just how it is, but don't hate I really think gio is doing very good.
Marc, I agree with everything in this video except for Kyle Schwarber being overrated. Some delusional cubs fans may think he is incredible but most rational fans know what he is capable of. Also, he has been hot in June so hopefully those are signs to come. From a FSU fan, please beat Clemson.
I respect your opinion about Gio Urshela and all, but I disagree with a few of the things you say about him. 1. No one said he was going to be the future 3rd baseman for the Yankees. We have Andujar, so why would we switch him? That’s makes no sense 2. I think it’s past the beginning of the baseball season. It’s been about 58 games in and he has a .310 average :/.
Im yankees fan and urshela is underrated he hasnt got the playing time in the past the Yankees gave him a shot look what happened yes IF urshela hits like this the rest of the season Andujar wont be there next year
As someone who HATES the Yankees, I think you didn't give Urshela credit. He really could have figured something out at the plate, it certainly looks like it, and he really is a very good fielding 3B
Kershaw certainly isn't washed, but I think his time as the absolute best pitcher in the MLB is over. Hes still top 10 but I don't think he'll ever be the undisputed best for the rest of his career
As a Phillies fan Nola u got right I still think Harper should have only been slightly overrated instead of flat out because he gets hated on because of how hyped he was and now the contract. Going back to Nola however is that well before the season if u put him there all of us would be up in arms right now because that was not true but with how he’s started and how he can’t work deep into games this season you’re right for now. Do I think he gets back to where he was? Yes. But as of now he’s in the right spot
Uhhh David price is overrated, for his contract you would expect him to be contributing much more, kind of like Bryce Harper. You used the same logic for Harper so please use it for Price as well
