Our pitching has been scorching hot. Allowing 8 runs in 7 games with several shutouts. Our bats have been mashing the ball like there's no tomorrow. We took 3 of 4 from the biggest comp in our division atm and swept the reds while allowing 1 run the entire series. I think at 2 unless someone has a significantly better week than you. You shouldn't move down unless you have a bad week. And it's hard to imagine anyone having that much better of a week than us

1-9 I still think the Braves have a better line up. But 1-4 is on another level with dodgers right now. This is early in May and there's plenty left but this was a measuring stick series, biggest of the year for both teams when facing the best they'll face. Dodgers sent an early message to the league but theres alot of games remaining

As a Braves supporter, I’m shocked that we didn’t fall out of the top 5 because these guys are playing some stupid baseball. These guys have the worst approaches and fell back into the feast or famine mode….nobody wants to work counts. Seattle and LA is what playoff baseball will look like and EVERYONE on the Bravos looked like the Chicago White Sox. They deserve a 10 ranking honestly. Terrible baseball. Edit: The Braves came into the LA series as a slumping team while the Dodgers were hot. Far different results had the Braves been hot themselves or at least not cold. Again, it’s about the postseason for these guys.

The orioles are 23-11 and 15-4 against teams .500 and above. Took 3-4 from the Yankees and swept the reds. They got better with pitching are top 5, top 3 or even #1 in most categories in the league but they dropped down a spot?? I don’t get it.. yes the Phillies are good too but you cans drop the orioles if they are winning, especially to a team that lost a key player in turner.

It's a long season, but Phillies are first in NL East. Won 5 straight and are 9-1 in their last 10. Who knows what this season will bring, but teams will be bouncing around!

You put the Phillies above the Orioles? All it takes is a little dive into the numbers to see this is absurd. The Phillies are 5-5 against teams above .500. They have also begun the season against the Giants, Cardinals, Rockies, White Sox, Pirates, all teams near the bottom of the power rankings...meanwhile the Orioles are 14-5 against teams above .500.

Orioles behind Phillies is… uh, pretty questionable. Orioles behind dodgers is predictable. Alex’s bias has grown more and more annoying. She should be on a Dodger podcast- I like her vibe but it’s a bit of a disservice to the fans who come to non-mainstream podcast source like this explicitly BECAUSE we are sick of the NY/LA bias in the mainstream.
