I can’t agree with putting the orioles behind LA. Sure in the ONE series we played them they took 2/3 but when you look at records vs >.500 teams LA is exactly that; a .500 team. The Orioles on the other hand are playing .571 against those >.500 teams. Not to mention, they are 5.0 games behind us in the overall standings. Also first in the AL to 70 wins 🎉🎉

As a rangers fan I think this is an accurate and fair list but I have to say something why do people keep bringing up houston whenever they bring us up the rays have the same gap give or take one game to Baltimore why aren’t they saying the game thing it’s always been “oh just wait till the all star break” “oh just wait before the trade deadline” “oh wait till after the trade deadline” is rangers fans have been “waiting” and houston hasn’t been in first place once this season but yet everyone around the league treats them like they deserve the division well until the rangers fall out of first place talk about my team and stop mentioning houston and that’s that also I hope josh jung doesn’t miss the rest of the season with the broken thumb we need him our rookie of the year fuck you soler for that line drive 😂😂😂😂😂

I'm a couple of weeks late on commenting, but I still wanted to pass along my thoughts. I feel like your Power Rankings are a little bit flawed. In general, I think your evaluations are pretty solid. But where I have a problem is that I feel that you over emphasize a teams overall record and not enough on recent performance. Example 1) A team with an overall record of 60-40, would probably rank in the top 5. But if they have gone 5-15 over they're last 20 or even 20-30 over they're last 50, they should probably drop 2 or 3 spots. Example 2) Conversely, if a team has an overall record of 50-50, they probably in the lower half of teams. However, if that team has gone 15-5 over they're last 20, they probably belong in the upper half. Which gets to my point. I am a diehard Seattle Mariners fan and I believe that you should have ranked them higher than 14. At the time they were 59-52, but also the hottest team in baseball, going 21-10 over a 5 week stretch. That is not a small sample size...it is a sign that they have turned things around and become the team that we envisioned before the season started. In my humble opinion, they should have been ranked inside the top 10. They have since gone 10-3, further cementing my assertion. Which leads me to my other differing opinion in that as far as the playoffs are concerned, I'd be willing to bet you a large milkshake that the M's will not only make the playoffs, but they will advance to the ALCS.

Mariners are 12-14 I would say. Let’s see the two versus SD and Baltimore series.

Diamondbacks at 21 is wild

Being a Diamondbacks fan right now is extremely depressing. As a dual citizen of the Mohave County, Arizona area and the DFW, Texas area, I just have to put all my hope into the Rangers now. Diamondbacks hurt my soul since the end of the allstar break. I don't think there's any doubt that their ship has officially sunk, the offense ain't hot anymore, and even when the pitching is good, it's not enough because the offense has been SO POOR. I'd like to see the stat for who has been the worst at batting in RISP since the allstar break, because I'm sure it's probably been the Diamondbacks. Today's game against the Twins was a disasterclass of getting lots of good contact, lots of base steals, lots of RISP, and then doing nothing with that advantage. I think 21 is more than fair, and you could argue that they're even worse than that right now. The only position I want to argue with you about is the Yankees, I think you let em sneak up the list way too far. They are a trainwreck, they can't REALLY be a top 10 team right now, can they?
