You underestimate Cleveland. * The #1 bullpen in MLB closes out games -- last 4 innings -- better than any of your top 4. * David Fry has emerged with all-star level skills. * Jose Ramirez is the RBI leader (not even close 2nd) despite not having Steven Kwan lead off for 1 mo. * Steven Kwan, MLB BA leader .360+, on the IL for 1 mo. is back. * Gavin Williams their new ace (Bieber on IL for season) is set to start his 1st game of the season in late June. Unlike the Yankees, who are 1 injury away from dropping out of the top 5, they have demonstated they have enough depth and versatility to lose 3 all-stars and still keep humming. They had a 9 game win streak without Bieber, Williams, and Kwan. They are real and they are dominant.
Some solid proof about how the guardians have been doing all season can’t argue with what you’re saying at all. 5th is no joke and their 4th when looking at the standings as a whole. I believe they have played two of the top 4 and lost both series. I want to see them start winning the key series coming up, 6 games against Toronto should be 4-2 etc
@@ihartsports they are literally .5 games above us and we should be above but the umps screwed us over yesterday, also we beat every good team we play the reds just played the cupcake cubs and the Rockies
@@ihartsports also they’re going to catch the smoke the next 3 series against the guardians, brewers, and the pirates if they can have a winning record by the end of that then I’ll say I’m wrong, also we just beat the dodgers and twins, one top 5 team and a borderline top 10 team
Reds beat up the dodgers too :) that’s what’s fun about the PR everyone had their different views But ofc it makes it more exciting now when they play each other again soon
I’m back. I like where the nationals are on the list after the sweep from the Mets. Had me worried that we’d be dropping a row. Because that was dreadful.
They were #1 for a week about 4-5 weeks ago but immediately had a bad week it was almost like I cursed them Their capable of getting there tough series this week vs the NL East
Hey thx for not hatin' on my Rangers, or even worse just flat out ignoring them. I agree with your opinion overall. I don't agree with the Astros but we'll see...See you on the flip-flop man.
Having SD rated higher than Reds and others is wild. They just got swept by the Angels. The Angels. And couldn’t score runs during that series. Reds have been playing on fire ever since they swept the Dodgers. You are really biased towards the Padres. I’m a fan and not admit we are not a good team. We’ve played 6 games below .500 since August 2021. That’s well over 350 games now. A HUGE sample size! A mediocre team and organization at best.
.500 puts you into the top 10 in the standings of this league right now… The Padres beat the reds a couple weeks back. Both teams have had their ups n downs and right now the reds have a better past ten sure but I still think the padres are better You may be right i historically have them too high but I haven’t forgotten 3-4 weeks ago I had the reds in the bottom row and they were dead last in their division Padres at least never stop being playoff contenders
@@ihartsports Never stop being playoff contenders? We had what the owner called a one in a century collapse in 2021 and missed the playoffs. We squeaked in after the Brewers collapsed in 2022. We started strong but finished .500 the second half of that season with Soto and Hader. We missed the playoffs altogether despite the fact we had Soto, Hader, and the Cy Young winner. The team is less talented this year and now fans are starting to question Mike Shit the new manager because of his management style and talking down to fans during postgame pressers. He says things that the fans are not buying into and even the players contradict him when they are interviewed. Things are not good here in SD. Fans want AJ Tingler Preller to be fired if we miss the playoffs or don’t get far this season. It’s been 10 years and he only has one playoff appearance in full seasons. Despite them jacking up prices and expectations. We are 15-21 at Petco Park. Again, the past two to three weeks we got swept by the Rockies and Angels. Two teams with -62 and -98 run differentials. AJ has a way of keeping us in the headlines but it hasn’t translated to wins and a well run organization/franchise.
@@ihartsports Plus AZ and SF will only get healthier from their injuries the second half of the season. We’ve had recent injuries but we have been below .500 with pretty much all our pieces. AJ is restricted what he can do at the deadline because we can’t go over the CBT threshold. And he’s already thinned out the farm system getting Cease and Arraez. Even with these moves we are below .500. I’m glad you have so much confidence in us though. I heard this last season too. Okay I’ll let you do your thing. It’s your list. Most of the content creators are mesmerized by AJ’s flashy moves that never work out. 😊
I love your passion and of course if their the team you follow most your going to know 100x more about them then me I try to bring as much as an unbiased outsider view as I can to this league and maybe your right the bells and whistles of the team sway me too much At the end of the day their 5th in the NL which means playoff spot which should also mean their top half of the league in theory They are wildly inconsistent but so is every other team below them This season is super whacky where 75% of teams are C tier it seems
What does Soto testing free agency have anything to do with these power rankings They also have the best lineup and best pitching and lead the league in most stats
Thank you for the correction Can’t believe it been two years since Adley was called up already times flying I knew they hadn’t been swept since he was up
@nexuscinema4937 I think you need to look again. are you mixing up Philli with Cleveland? because Cleveland has played the most teams above .500 out of that whole top 5.
As an Os fan I’m not trying to make any excuses for what happened in St. Louis but a rained out game then replayed in the middle of the day. Then to play the next game to have yet another rain delay. Just a wild series to get swept.
As a Phan I like the way you have Atlanta lying on its side. You could draw in legs flailing in the air like a cockroach that can't get up. True they haven't faced much top competition, but (a) that's the schedule, not their fault and (b) they have won those games they were expected to win, and for a team that takes a back seat to no one in finding ways to lose games they should win, we like that part. But overall, best record in baseball, most wins, best winning percentage (.720), most runs, best run differential. Out of everybody. There's not much more they can do.
What do you expect? Catchers are kneeling wayyyy too close to the plate. It’s not the batter’s fault.im surprised there aren’t more catchers injured this year
Liked your rankings except I think the Rangers will make a SPLASH soon and eventually wind up in the World Series again this year in the WS as a Rangers vs. Dodgers.
WTF kind of video is this. Phillies are a complete team, that’s the roster for the rest of the year. The Dodgers are still in spring training mode. Not everyone is back, pitching is only going to get better. Graterol, Kershaw, May still haven’t debuted. Trinen looks nasty and Buhler both just getting started this past week. Not to mention everyone is trying against the Dodgers. That’s everyone’s World Series when the come to town. They Draw big crowds for every team in the league.
My favorite part of the season might be influenced by recently bias, but Chill Will Brennan went SPLASH to walk off the twins and secure the sweep for the Guardy's who had a great weekend in their awesome new city connect uni's!
I absolutely love their city connects!!! I’ve been a lifelong diehard Indians/guardians fan. And I feel like our uniforms and branding have been kind of bland ever since they went to the “Block C” logo. I feel like this is the rebranding that they were scared to go too hard into in 2021. They basically just dropped the “in” and swapped it for “Guar” in the same font.
If the Brewers are able to make a splash at the trade deadline to acquire a starting pitching, they can win the division. If not, I’m not sure they have enough pitching to get there.
After an 8-8 start the Phillies have gone 26-6 and have surged to a five game lead over Atlanta.....and they've been without Trea Turner for the last two weeks.
Yeah I couldn’t hold them down while all the other teams have had their mini struggles They still only have 9 games against above .500 teams tho which means they will have a harder schedule then the others the rest of the way
@@ihartsports Not really....at least not in the NL as few teams are at or above .500 right now. The Padres are 24-24 and the Phillies swept them in SD not long ago and they outscored them something like 22-10 in the process. The only NL teams above .500 besides the Phils are the Braves,Brewers,Cubs and Dodgers. The Rangers come to Citizen's Bank Park for a three-game series starting tomorrow night.....Go Fightins!
