MLB The Show 2024 it's finally here! - New York Yankees Vs Houston Astros 4K UHD (PS5) 

For those complaining about the lineup of both teams, yesterday SDS released a new roster update - mlb24.theshow.com/roster_updates/1. PS: I recorded this video when the game just came out, there was no update or anythingt :) so keep that in mind..PEACE OUT

These graphics were awesome ten years ago. Not so much now.

They should put a lil more emotion into the game like when a pitcher strikes out the side or a rally

I don’t know if it’s new or I just never experienced it but I like hearing the crowd chanting “throw it back” it’s a nice touch and adds the realistic atmosphere.

The crowd is to hyped up. Needs to calm down after the start of the game. Reminds me of a crowd you see at a Kim Jong un speech where they applaud hysterically for their safety lol

The fact that Corey Julks is batting 3rd and in the starting lineup for opening day is comical 💀. Same for both starting pitchers

Can't believe Verlander has outlasted a lot of the pitchers that beat him in the playoffs many years ago

I think video games in the future will be so realistic that the players in the games will go on strike for higher salaries slowing down sales of video games. Also, even in video games Taylor Swift afffects the outcome of sports games.

They should bring back classic teams

I only play Sports games and GTA/ GTA styled games I hate Zombie games or any game when I’m shooting creatures, Aliens monsters etc I prefer shooting ppl in video games.. this looks awesome..

This game version is missing the most important part to make it truly realistic. This game should have shown the Astros cheating as part of the video game.

I think the thing that still always looks so off to me is the full sprint run of outfielders to the spot than stopping on a dime and locking on to the fly ball.

For a 2024 game ..the graphics look kind of flat...could use more shadows and dept of field.

The stadium graphics and lighting are sent from afar, but the modeling of the characters is horrible, they seem an intermediate between PS3 and PS4 graphics. Unacceptable in full 2024. In addition, we move from 60 fps in Gameplay at 30 fps constantly

Some of the player models look too bottom-heavy. And the ball still travels way too slow from the pitcher and off the bat. How have they not fixed this…ever? It’s slow motion and unrealistic. A ball speed slider would improve these games tremendously.

The issue I 've had when it comes to sports games is they change very little with each release. You basically end up buying the same game every year with the only difference being team rosters and minor game mode features you can do without. The first and only MLB Show game I bought was '18. To be honest it still holds up in terms of graphics and game play. Team rosters are dated but that isn't important unless you just have to have everything current in order to enjoy a baseball game. I saw no reason to buy '19, '20, '21, '22, and '23. From what I see here there is no reason to get '24 unless I want to have female players.
