I was in the audience at Stanford on that day. I will not forget it. We've made lots of progress since then, but the struggle is not over. The deep-rooted problems Dr. King mentioned have not disappeared, but they are more widely acknowledged today. This speech is as relevant today as it was in 1967. We should all listen again and remind ourselves that we have a duty to promote human rights not only in law, but even more importantly in daily life. Thank you, Dr. King.

I’m a white man, and in school I’m taught that Dr. King was the man who had a dream for racial equality. He was, and I respected him for that. However, I was never taught that he was a socialist acknowledged the underreported housing crisis, rising wealth inequality, and white backlash towards “radical” ideas. He wasn’t just a preacher, a leader of a movement, he was a man far ahead of his time who argued for a fundamental change of societal values. And that makes me respect him even more.

@dman221
@dman221 4 года назад
That is because it could have been written yesterday. LAWS can’t change the hearts and thinking of devil minded creatures. Our mothers and fathers felt the same way you feel today. At one time WE walked in unity but today there is always ONE or TWO who will be off code. The other problem with Black People is that too many of Us think we know everything. Never humble ourselves to someone wiser. Lastly, FORGIVENESS...When you forgive time after time, after time you become blinded to what is done RIGHT in front of your face. Racism is a DNA gene and like any other trait it has been taught at home, at school through everyday actions of others who possess the same gene. Martin broke through those genes at one moment but his desire to have little Black Boys and Little White Girls eat the same table. One thing is that would confuse those children not knowing who they are first. Secondly, that was NEVER accepted by the Little White Boys and Little White girls. Save your SOUL and SEPARATE from these creatures. Spiritually, Socially and one day Economically....otherwise their Morals of shooting Unarmed people is a Honorable thing will rub off on you. One thing for sure a majority of us are not sleeping anymore. Some of us will stay comatose due to fear. It’s funny they are not afraid of death by their people but afraid of death by the hands of creatures who wish nothing but death upon them. Amazing to observe… P.S. I wrote this comment two years ago…it resurfaced by on my notifications. I see that my comment holds true 2 years ago and definitely applies today in 2022. I am a older Black man and have seen the destruction of our people in the name of unification.
@frederickweeksjr.1189
@frederickweeksjr.1189 4 года назад
@@dman221 Bruh,your comment is so way off I had to say something. 1st,their sinners that need the Lord just like anyone else. If your comment were true, " Why are OUR PEOPLE killing each other over senseless BS?" 2nd, it's not about feelings ( which fluctuate ), but FACTS. If you're a black man as I,I KNOW you experience the unnecessary negative treatment from Caucasians ( and others) in various ways EVERY DAY. So how do we navigate through this? Me,I understand that in the word of God ( Romans 12:19-21)that GOD WILL AVENGE, but I have responsibility to carry myself right ( which many of OUR PEOPLE) forget. The young people won't listen because they weren't taught......WITH BALANCE, ie a Father and Mother household thereby we have this dysfunction. Finally, as far as forgiveness is concerned, "It's a CONSCIOUS CHOICE," knowing that God sees and will handle it without US,sticking our hands in it. Understand brother, it doesn't make you a punk,just WISE. I'LL TAKE WISDOM ANY DAY.

Goal was integration to save whites. 5. Blacks had black wall street and would have built it back after it was bomb but they merged with whites 6. He wanted a white cafe worker but the powers to be said NO. His marriage was arranged with correta. 7. Correta did much of his work and they helped him cheat on his doctoral thesis. 8.he attend the racist communist highlander folks school. Correta wrote not 1 but 3 books and had a white man to do them for her. In those stories she is basically saying she had a hand in it.. 9. All that preaching check into the S.N.I.C. he was involved with and the lifestyles of their members. 10. He put hitler down but went to study with ghandi but ghandi didn't like black people. Ahimsa is from the Indian people aka non violence just like many from India so whites can get you to conform to their standards. 11. If anything got him killed it was telling harry belefonte " I feel I have led my people into a burning home"... you can't join the boule/ masons/ illuminate and get out on that level and after you took the deal. @@larrybowman4786 I disagree....racism, it's actions and continued existence, is and has always been a thing that was devised and put in place by white peoples (not ALL white people). The construct of race - the false idea that white lives have more value than non-white lives - did not come out of the minds of non-white people. It is not black people or non-white people that need to change to make this country and this world better!! Those that devised this idea are the one's that must change. It has harmed them as much as everyone else, and they DESPERATELY cling to this idea. Today they are calling it Christian White Nationalism....that white people remain in charge always, and they decide how all others live their lives.

I agree, as parents/adults we should teach our children because we must remember: The American Revolution was not fought for us, but Black Marines fought in that war. Free Public Education was not intended for us, but Black men were used to build many of the school buildings in the south. The Banks did not create the Financial Regulatory system to include and assist Black Americans. In fact, "The Father of American Finance", Carter Glass' intention was to make sure the African Slave and his descents in America would never be able to use the Financial Systems to prosper in America. Glass was born 1857-1946 and never changed his mind despite the injustices Blacks suffered during and after Reconstruction. Read, Banking In America.

We fight for a Culturally responsive education and proper funding of our very segregated schools everyday. I'm so glad you Kings and Queens are watching. We must study our whole history to learn from the ones that gave their lives for us to be here. We demand everything that has been stolen from us. Keep the integration we want ECONOMIC INTEGRATION! Big difference. Remember who we are and do you're part so our children can grow up to be who they are destined to be. Who we are destined to be! Ancestors Bless and make sure you unlearn, relearn and teach our children ✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾 Systemic racism has grown for 400+ yrs. We have work to do my people! Instead of buying chicken sandwiches and making the other America wealthier. How about we switch the game up and collectively start building capital which leads to resources which leads to power. Everyone of us is GREAT! Let's teach our children we are all leaders and can build generational wealth for our next generations. We are tired of crumbs we deserve have bleed and died for that cake a long time ago. We spend a trillion dollars a yr giving it away to corporations we can't even make a decent living working at. Such thoughtful beautifully collected words of pearls , the crown of Truth, He delivers in such eloquence and pain, compassion, arising from his warm heart, full of hope and God's Will. It seems he carries the burden of all human sufferings in his community and beyond, probably at that time his body mind and heart were invisibly bleeding . Love you brother King 💪💪💪❤️

Naw... that's that training from the highlander folks school he learned. He was brought and paid for by the Rothschild and blumberg family. Their goal was integration because blacks had black wall street and were the only people who would have made it 100% through the 30's and 40's when world war was going on. They latched on to us because we reached out to save them through integration.

Olando Fuller please sir if you have any videos on that subject let me know. Because I know MLK eventually started to see things Malcom X way before he was killed. But I also heard that to that he was brought by the Rothschild family and I don’t know if you are white or not,, but I don’t mean any disrespect. I don’t put anything pass white people going based off history especially the elite white families so if you have any RU-vid videos on that please put the link up...

He did his readings and writings while growing up and going to school. He lived the words he spoke. He worked tirelessly to get economic justice. So when he spoke, he didn’t need to read from paper. MLK, Malcolm, Baldwin et al., were intelligent because they not only read but did and lived the work.
