MLP Make Your Mark Chapter 4 quick review 

My biggest favorite thing is that sparky is so much less annoying in chapter four! He barely shows up, and when he does, despite his off putting model he actually does some cute stuff! He’s used where he is needed and is background when he’s not!

I very much agree in the most part, Chapter 4 feels like what a G5 show should of been. It adds Lore, we get returning call backs from the movie. And are characters do more exciting and interesting stuff. There’s plenty of stuff I can talk about. But I also have my criticisms, but much fewer this time around. Also, nice to see another person being positiv about Chapter 4

I had low expectations with chapter 4 and honestly considered not even watching it, but to my surprise, I really enjoyed it! I thought the Bridlewood stock episode was the worse only because it was too contrived for my liking but I still found myself enjoying the episode in the end. The other episodes were pretty well too, some parts were a slug to get too but over all had enjoyment in the good parts. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it as well, it gives me hope that g5 won't completely die out.

went into Chapter 4 with REALLY low expectations, and came out.... actually enjoying most of it. you can absolutely tell the G5 folks had more freedom working on this chapter, because there was some honest-to-god effort here. sure, not all of it was great (Bridlewoodstock was.... meh, The Jinxie Games was the only episode I wasn’t a fan of, the new version we got of Opaline’s backstory here was kinda confusing and not all of the jokes landed), but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t have a great time watching it. and also, Misty stole the show for me. I don’t care how predictable her redemption arc was, she is EASILY best G5 girls, hands down!

A few weeks before chapter 4 was released, I wrote a little fan fic about g3 Minty creating a singing group called The Merry Mints. Minty was thinking of who would be interested in her idea, then she remembered that Brights Brightly and Starsong love to sing, so she sent a letter to both of them. The next day both of them showed up at Minty's house and said that they love her idea. Brights brightly is the one who came up with the name for their group. Just so you know, I only use the names of the ponies in my collection when I’m writing my pony stories.

I do find it interesting that Minty’s G3 design is still more popular than her G1 and G5 design. I think it’s because she had a bit of actual character growth in the G3 show, even starring in her own Christmas special.

pipp was amazing in chapter 4 and her love for spooky stuff remind me of the nightmare episodes of tell your tale.

I would like to hear Princess Celestia and Luna's side of the story if they do return in the next MLP: Make Your Mark Chapter because I'm getting a feelings that Opaline wasn't telling the whole truth about her past. I mean the way she discribe her backstory to Misty she looks bitterly jealous and angry as for Misty at the end of this episode I'm hoping that she had left Opaline's castle for good now that she finally got her cutie mark at last and join the 5 maines into help them to defeat Opaline once and for all.

also, can we talk about Sparky in this chapter? up to this point, he’s easily been the absolute worst character in G5, ESPECIALLY in Tell Your Tale. there wasn’t a single moment where I didn’t feel like I wanted to reach through the screen and strangle him! then came Chapter 4.... and it did the impossible. they actually made me FEEL for Sparky! like, I legit felt worried for his wellbeing in “Missing the Mark”. feeling something other than pure rage for Sparky is something I never thought G5 would ever do... but here we are. i... surprisingly didn’t hate him this time, and he had some genuinely precious moments throughout. if that’s not an improvement, I don’t know what is. hats off to the G5 staff!

My favorite part of the 44 min episode was seeing minty in a band no less thats really cool and i love her design too much better then her G4 camo where the just used a apple jack model for her in a short that was made when FiM was almost over.

I definitely agree with you on almost all fronts. I also disliked about half of Chapter 2, though I did like Misty from the start. Chapter 4 though is just such a huge improvement over Chapter 2 in almost every single way! While I had to almost force myself to watch certain Chapter 2 episodes, this definitely wasn't the case here. A Little Horse was the only one that dragged a little, but it was still more entertaining than the bad Chapter 2 episodes. I'm really happy that Make Your Mark is finally finding its footing, and now I'm actually looking forward to what else Make Your Mark has in store for us!

I love g5 . I enjoy chapter 2 but like you said the last 2 episodes where not it. But I think chapter 4 explains a lot of the questions we had and makes us wonder what’s to come on season 2 of the show . And you was right you knew you was going to enjoy this chapter

I really liked the G5 movie, but almost everything after it was just super mid. In this season everything suddenly increased in quality by 200%, and I love it! The animation and expressions are better, the writing and jokes are better, and the characters feel like they have real personalities again. I really really hope they continue with this quality in future seasons/movies.

I think Princess Sunny Starscout is the Element of Magic, because just like Princess Twilight Sparkle, she is the new leader of the new Mane Six and she is the new Monarch of all Equestria, that is, she is the new Princess Ruler of all Equestria, while Princess Zipp Storm is the Element of Loyalty, because like Rainbow Dash, she is the most rebellious and the most athletic member of the team, Princess Pipp Petals is the Element of Generosity, because like Rarity, she is the most elegant and the most beautiful member of the team, Izzy Moonbow is the Element of Laughter, because like Pinkie Pie, she is the most cheerful and the most funniest member of the team, Misty Brightdawn is the Element of Kindness, because like Fluttershy, she is the most shyest and the most kindest member of the team, and Hitch Trailblazer is the Element of Honesty, because like Applejack, he is the most honest and the most responsible member of the team.

I believe Chapter 4 is better than 1-3. Because Chapter 1 and 2 had a tiny bit of lore. But chapter 3 is just a Christmas themed Episode without lore. Not to mention they finally gave Misty a Cutie Mark ever since it was leaked from a toy.
