I adore all 3 of those songs, they are easily within the top 10 songs this show ever produced (which is saying a lot because there are just so many excellent songs!)

Totally agree! I partially love it because Rarity is my favorite. But it's actually such a cute song! I kinda relate to it too. And that music video is cheffs kiss. The carrousel dress lives in my head rent free

I see my sister actually singing that song. She likes to design her own clothes and style my family's hair whenever she gets the chance. She does struggle sometimes, but she always keeps going until she's finished. And I always believe in my big sister!

You might have missed out on the Equestria Girls ones. Many of the songs in this video come from the EQ movies or, even more low-key, the EQ shorts.

I thought I would stop being a MLP fan, grow up and move on when I'm like 16, or at max 17 but here I am, a 20 year old, singing along to "shake things up" lol... Non official fan made songs are great too like The Moon Rises (the animation was deleted but people resurrected it XD, I absolutely love that song and its animation), Fluttershy's lament, Children of the Night, and most importantly Pony Girl hahah

Btw I think MLP really was aimed for 8 year olds until about the end of season 4, but after seeing the attention the show got they started taking it more seriously. I saw a few clips from like season 2 or something and twilight weirdly bent her front left leg 3 times in just a single episode, the animation and plot started to feel more serious starting from season 5. And in my country, MLP was never taken seriously and the dub was awful, I couldn't bear listening to their screechy annoying voices because just one person was voicing all the mane 6 and they kept translating the songs too... It was so disappointing... Coming back to the point, at season 6 finale (I think it was named "To where and back again?"), the episode where everyone gets kidnapped and replaced by changelings, I couldn't wait for the dub and subtitled versions, so even as a kid who didn't know enough english to understand a whole episode, I watched it on youtube in english, no subtitles in a language i can understand, but still it was the most intense my little pony episode I had ever watched. And I still remember that episode very well.

@@thundersong15 the part in the song babs seed, when the cutie mark crusaders are at the movie theatre “oh she’ll go home soon, and then we’ll have some peace again.. but for now we’re staying outta her way until then..” that scene was in my dream and i was being chased by the food and babs seed was pitch black the whole time that song was tauntingly playing throughout that whole nightmare but the “yeah, yeah, yeah” part was the only part playing, it was looping over and over and it was terrifying its not that scary, but it was the most terrifying thing to me at the time
