Yes, the whole game has been rerouted with extensive use of RNG manipulation, but it's less precise than MMBN 1 so it's harder to pull off. There's also been a few smaller route improvements. You can find the best runs on the leaderboards jokaah.com/mmrta/index.php?game=35 mine's a bit outdated now, but Keizaron's has all the latest stuff.
