Thanks for all these awesome videos. I live in the U.S. but it's great fun and enlightening to see how our European and British friends approach the design and function of motor homes.
The USA makes some awesome RVs... I like the Newmar range and they have a "London Aire" Tiny old Europe could not cope with a vehicle that size plus you could not legally drive one on a regular EU car drivers license.
AT LAST !!!!! A review of a substantial motorhome ! Most of the ones you see all four relatively small ones specifically for two people and generally aimed at older people! It makes such a change to see someone doing a review for a motorhome that is different in many ways!
Not often presenters go up to the luton bed. Thank you Peter for doing so, it gives a better idea of how easy or dificult access to it is and also how spacious. Can this carry in future reviews??? Thank you
Good morning, Ezio from Sicily Catania, I would like to know if the camper, Argos A747 2G, can be driven with a B license. I await your news, thank you.
If you're thinking of buying there are a couple of options. Make sure you have the C1 (7,500kg) category on your driving licence first. There is a used one at Camper UK (a 2017 model) for £80k. www.outandaboutlive.co.uk/motorhomes/for-sale/motorhomes/brstner-argos-a-747-2-g/1027240 Or Southdowns has a new one (due in February 2021) for just over £105k www.outandaboutlive.co.uk/motorhomes/for-sale/motorhomes/brstner-argos-a747-2-g/1025065 Let us know if you get one and how you find it!
This looks like my ideal motorhome, the only thing I don't like about it is the rear fixed bed that has windows both sides. My current motorhome has the same rear fixed bed but the head end is padded so you can sit up in bed and read a book or watch Tv. How can you do that with a window there.
Sorry for late reply, I have one of these 747's. The rear bed is made of 2 singles, each of which can elevate at one end to form a back rest, independant of one another. It is very good, and super comfy for sitting up in bed reading or watching TV. It also means one person can lay flat and sleep, whilst the other is sat up. Awesome motorhomes, if a little tricky to get into tight spaces.
Buongiorno io Ezio dalla Sicilia Catania, desidero sapere ,se il Camper ,Argos A747 2G ,se si può guidare con Patente B ,Aspetto vostre notizie ,Grazie.
This beautifully created piece of automotive design would be perfect for me, my brother and my dog and cat but I’d have to put my dog very flatulent dog in a place where he couldn’t stink the place out
Merhaba; türkiyede satış noktanız varmı ve tabiki sağdan direksiyon. Satış noktanız yoksa nasıl sizden alabiliriz. Son olarakta fiyatı ne kadardır. Umarım tercüme yaptırıp cevap verebilirsiniz
Fiat dominates the motorhome market and for many good reasons. A 5-tonne Ducato with 180 Multijet engine and Al-Ko chassis has a lot going for it. Don't get fooled into thinking of rusty old Puntos...
@Simon Dec Fiat dominate the motorhome market. They're not perfect but probably no more issues than other base vehicles, such as Ford Transit. Important is the backup Fiat gives to the industry and to owners via its Camper Assist programme anywhere in Europe
Not as difficult as you might imagine. It all depends on where you go - on the continent things tend to be easier with a big motorhome. And, of course, there's that garage so that you can carry bikes - maybe even a lightweight motorbike (just watch your payload and axle weights) - for secondary transport. Some would even tow a car, though then you might be better off going for a smaller motorhome.
Burrs Country Park Caravan & Motorhome Club Site, Bury, Lancashire - lovely site and the steam railway actually stops adjacent to the site at a special station!
