There are things I like over the 765. But I DEFINITELY prefer the 765's front to back, drop down bed. Much more versatile. Great review, as usual for this reviewer.
Thank you, Peter, lovely demo! Wish the camera person had shown more details in kitchen and bathroom. I love the garage on these Euro models compared to similar sized RVs in US. Overhead bed is genius! However, the a la mode bowl sink in my opinion, is not an improvement over under counter low profile sink. Who sold us this bad design and why are RV makers using this hard-to-clean-easy-to-break-more-expensive-bump-into type of sink design? I would replace this with a much better styled under counter sink. My only point of contention with this otherwise perfectly designed RV.
Hi Maria. It depends what licence you have now. If you passed your driving test before Jan 1997, you should have what is referred to as 'grandfather rights' on your licence, which means you should be allowed to drive a vehicle up to 7.5 tonnnes. This is the C1 category on the back of the licence. If not, then you are restricted to vehicles 3,500kg and below (this is the B and B1 category). This is why most motorhomes are built within this 3,500kg weight category. The partiuclar Bailey six-berth motorhome shown here is rated at 4,250kg so you need the higher C1 category licence to drive it. If you are limited to 3,500kg, you can take a test (but you need to pay) to have an upgraded licence. However there are many sub-3,500kg motorhomes on the market, so have a look around first. If you need a six-berth then your choice is more limited and, if you do find one under 3,500kg, then check you have enough payload for everyone and their kit. Good luck with your search!
I realise that this beautiful piece of kit doesn’t need corner steadies but if if I was unfortunate enough to have guests sleeping in the home I’d want sturdy corner steadies,does anyone besides my brother think that’s overkill because I’d like some opinions

6 year water ingress that can be upgraded to 10 years at extra cost im sorry but thats a disgrace when you are forking out so much in the first place why should you pay extra for a measily extra 4 years on the warranty
Bathroom looks superb in the flesh (so much more modern looking than equivalent EU models). Fully equipped kitchen with oodles of storage space (unmatched at the price by any EU model I've seen). The French bed parallel lounge model has an excellent lounge/diner area unmatched for space and airiness than anything else I've seen on the market (Bolero's and a couple of Auto-Trail models excepted). Yes it does sit low on the road and this must be a consideration when planning routes etc. If you like the cramped front lounge/diners and ill-equipped kitchens offered by the so called "modern" EU competition then these motorhomes are not for you. If you want vfm I think these new Baileys must be right up there as they were work out nearly 10 grand less than the equivalent Bolero models and arguably look more up to date.
What a terrible layout. You lose the biggest seating area if someone wants to go too bed, you have to pay extra for a TV in the area most people will be, that huge "designer" bowl in the bathroom takes up all the counter space, the drop down ed makes in very difficult to use the the dinette, the cushions made up to be a mattress must be really uncomfortable, and it looks like the bed interferes with the person in the front seat being able to see the TV. Those are just few off the top of my head. The review didn't show the whole interior of the bathroom, never showed the interior of the fridge at all or mentioned the size. You don't show the microwave except fleetingly, don't show the interior of the pass through storage, no indication of tankage capacities, the type of toilet, almost anything mechanical, and the drain that's about an inch above the ground just gets brushed off as not a deal breaker. I don't know how you'd even get out a driveway without ripping off that drain, and the whole thing is so low to the ground the rest of the outside storage, which you never showed, must be tiny or nonexistent. Take a poorly designed motorhome and pair it with one of the worst reviews I've seen you do and this was a really disappointing experience.
no ground clearance and that cheap grey waste tap wouldn't last long in real world usage. Where do you store your table and chairs and BBQ and all the other gear we all carry.
