I wish NCSoft and Carbine didn't fuck up Wildstar. That game was so much fun in it's prime. And the housing was likely the best of any game made so far.
Oh man... I remember the good old time soooo well. For me it was Ragnarok Online and I was definitely addicted! It was right before my CS 1.6 + WoW times. Good old times.
I quit WoW in 2021 and I honestly miss the game every day. I peaked with my guild at the time just barely making it into the Hall of Fame for Nzoth, but tumultuous life events began to pull me away from the game and my skill began to deteriorate rapidly. It didn't help that WoW was hit back to back with the two worst expansions of it's life cycle. Somewhere along the way, the magic died for me. Killing raid bosses and getting high parses didn't scratch the itch anymore. Casual activities like roleplay became formulaic with cliques controlling major social hubs and events on the two main RP servers in NA. I started playing XIV in Endwalker, but something about the game just doesnt jive with me at all. I don't think I've outgrown the genre, I still think back about my time in WoW and romanticize the fuck about it.
Only mmo I play these days is oldschool runescape. It avoids a lot of the pitfalls of post wow mmos as it follows a divergent path in mmo design and the playerbase is vehemently anti microtransaction.
Just found your channel and you should definitely do voice work. Your tone is so soothing and your delivery is great. As a Tripp VR user I would pay to have your voice as the narrator.
really great video, loved the amount of research you put into everything. I remember a lot of halo 3 multiplayer maps and it feels like I almost have a photo memory visually of some of them

I love how detailed and organized the videos are, really great! I’m also a huge fan of not getting yelled or screamed at. I’ve been listening to these videos while working and it’s been fantastic. There is so much history I didn’t know despite playing all of the aforementioned games either for a couple of minutes or hundreds of hours.
Just found your channel and I'm liking your content. What I like the most is how chill your voice is. Too many content creators are loud, obnoxious, and distracting. I like having videos in the background as I work and sometimes other creators are just too distracting. It also reminds me of the real old school Vice and Journalism. (When they used to be real good) I would love to see videos of going through the career history of influential creators/developers, franchise timeline history, and maybe Esports moments.

MMO are really good kind of game will a real little player Base nowadays. My personal fav was the OG Age of Empires, it made me got addicted to MMO and RTS games, i could spend the entire day playing it and lost track of time
I have to say this once. I can listen to you all day. You have an amazing voice and the way you explain and tell the story with pauses is perfect. Keep creating more content.
This was a good video. Very educational and enlightening. I actually don't play mmo's very much but ever since watching Arcane and subsequently diving into the lore of league of legends, I do find myself snorting lines of copium for the riot mmo. That 6-second reference to the mmo should last me an hour and a half
